How to Save Money at Villa Rosa Veterinary Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
I really really liked this office. The facility was really clean and smelled so good. The staff were very kind very professional and very good with Corey. The thing that I liked is I was able to stay with Corey. Then about 3 weeks later my youngest cat was acting really funny and was very lethargic I called in early in the morning to see if they could get him in because I was very concerned about him it was on a Thursday so I didn't want him to go through the weekend and not be seen. they did not want to disrupt their schedule so they referred me to an emergency veterinarian clinic. I checked the ratings on this facility and it was rated as a two as I read the reviews I got very nervous and upset because they had very poor poor reviews I was very disappointed in this as I have never had a Vet. that referred me to an emergency clinic during the day when they are open. unfortunately as a result I will most likely take my babies back to where I used to go Even though it's a farther drive because they always have time for a sick cat. I called them and they worked him in and I immediately took him straight over and yes he did have something going on. I feel very strongly that when the veterinarians are open they should make every effort to see their patients even though Luca had not been there before I had actually established Corey my oldest. I have four cats I was going to take one in at a time to have a checkup done and establish them in the office. Unfortunately I think the vet is awesome but I don't feel that they are committed to taking care of their animals if it means putting their schedule out a little bit. I was very disappointed. I have included pictures of my babies on the left is Corey and the one on the right is my Luca the one that was sick.

So happy I found a new vet office since we're new to the area. Absolutely incredible staff from the front desk to the vet techs to the doctor and surgeon. Felt completely at ease placing my fur baby's care in their hands and highly recommend them to anyone else who wants the utmost love and care provided to their extended family member while receiving top notch medical service. Dr Mester and Dr Rojas were thorough, concise and provided every option possible to make an informed decision. Never one felt rushed, answered all our questions, dived into each detail as much as I wanted and just had the best bedside manners. Julie is also incredible, thorough and super empathic to the stresses of why you might be there. Can't recommend this practice enough and Aubrie is super thankful for the endless kindness you all provide!

So glad I found this vet! Since moving to the area, it’s been tough finding a vet that is attentive, took time to listen to my concerns, and not dismissive to cats. They split their exam rooms so that kitties have a quieter, less stressful area. Dr Esposito is very kind. 1m+++ stars!

This was our first time at Villa Rosa and I can say that we will definitely be back! My pup is terrified of the vet after having and illness as a puppy. Even with multiple "happy visits" at other vets, she never warmed up to them, but after just a few minutes at Villa Rosa my pup was calmer than I had ever seen her! The whole staff at Villa Rosa goes out of their way to make sure that you and your pet are comfortable. A special shout out to Macy and Dr. Amanda for taking extra time to ensure Wynnie was comfortable before starting the exam, and to Tanya for making sure all her previous records were in order. Everyone was very kind, caring, and professional. I appreciated that everything was explained to me during the visit and the pricing was extremely reasonable! 10/10 would recommend Villa Rosa to everyone!

This was by far THE BEST Veterinary experience for my pup, and for me! Dr. Amanda, Macy, and Tanya are such a pleasure to be around. They were so excited to meet and play with Oliver. The office is thoughtfully curated, clean, and inviting. From the warm decor, to the calming pup pheromones, the treats and toys, to the hand-written name on the whiteboard, it was all so perfect. Oliver had his first puppy exam, nails clipped, treats, and shots. Dr. Amanda was so great at distracting him; he didn't even notice the little pinches. My daughter wants to be like Dr. Amanda when she grows up, and Dr. Amanda gifted her the cutest coloring book that explains what Veterinarians do. THANK YOU for treating my fur baby like he is your fur baby! We are both looking forward our *ahem--I mean, HIS* next visit!
