I cannot recommend Dr. Gustavo and his staff enough! They are truly amazing and have been so kind and caring to my 11-year-old retriever. She has never been in better hands and always comes back home happy and healthy. I am so grateful for their expertise and love to our Lolita.

Dr. G is the BEST. I recently adopted my pup who is heartworm positive. Only finding out she was positive after having her for a week, I was anxious and very stressed out as I knew nothing about the disease. The treatment for HW is long, risky, and not easy for dogs. I previously was scheduled to do the treatment at another Vet, but they showed no compassion and told me this disease could be a death sentence. I was not comfortable with this vet at all. I reached out to the shelter I got her from and they recommended me to Wellswood! Best decision I have made. From the first appointment I knew I made the right the decision. The ENTIRE staff is compassionate, and Dr. G truly cares and is very transparent. He has a lot of patience with my million questions and is very good at following up. My pup has smoothly completed 3/3 of the HW treatment injections with Dr. G and now we are just waiting for her to be negative and be a normal dog again. I could not be more grateful for Wellswood and I truly trust them with all of my pups needs!!!!! 100/10.
