How to Save Money at Four Corners Animal Clinic
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

If you love your dog like your own child PLEASE DO NOT BRING HIM/HER TO THIS PLACE! Sadly my puppy only 1 year old passed away with an internal bleeding because this doctor could not tell him that he needed an emergency surgery. I paid $2,500 to treat him with what he said might be the cause of his anemia which was pancreatitis. But when he called me saying i needed to pick him up and take him to a different hospital for a deeper evaluation, it was too late… i left my puppy walking and still alert but when he gave him back to me 1 after my puppy was unresponsive, had mucus membranes coming out of his nose, his hair was pale and white but he was a brown dog. Me and my children are still struggling with guilt that we shouldn’t have left our puppy to sleep at this hospital but we were hopeful that what this doctor was doing will get him better but it just killed him. Sadly in Florida a pet is considered personal property so there’s not much i could do and probably he knows that and that is why is misdiagnosed my dog causing his death. I hope this place is closed for good! He was an amazing pet and very healthy this shouldn’t have happened!

I was a little skeptical going to a new vet coming from NY. My first visit was a bit interesting, felt like their "bedside" manner could have been better and their prices were a bit expensive. Then I quickly realized their job is to heal and take care of our animals our family! They are damn good at what they do. Dr. Mohit is great, he is direct but empathic and gives you the facts with options. He nor his staff try to sway you in any direction. They are well worth their rates. I recently had to put down my dog Boogie who was my best friend of 14 years. They made me feel at ease and comfortable with one of the most difficult decisions I've had to ever make. My family and friends go to FCAH because we understand they have our pets best interest in mind regardless of what we think or how we feel. They have a duty to their patients. If you don't feel the same they may not be the Veterinarian hospital for you!

This place was amazing!!!! So much knowledge in one place we had decided to take all our fur babies to this place. We really appreciate all the advice they gave us for our new baby. When we arrived we were greeted by everyone who see us. Even when we were being helped they still spoke and they are so carrying as if it was their own.

Update: I went there today to complain and ask for a partial refund. They refused saying “they did nothing wrong”, I said well you guys didn’t do anything right either! $1100 later and you couldn’t even tell me what was wrong and sent my dog home with no meds? I was getting loud, so they threatened to call the police to arrest me. I called them all frauds and incompetent. The vet then ran outside, closed & locked the gate to the parking lot and refused to let me leave until the police came to “arrest me”. The police showed up and actually screamed at the vet for holding me hostage. The vet told the police he wanted me arrested, the responding officer said they can’t arrest me I didn’t do anything wrong. Vet said “he screamed at us!” Officer said “this is America. He has freedom of speech rights, he can do that.” In the end I got trespassed and am never allowed to go back, but I wasn’t planning on it anyway!! QUACKERY. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE IF THEY ARE SICK. This vet has no idea what he is doing. Story time! I brought my pug Biscuits here as he was having trouble peeing. First impression was awful- the vet scolded me for not having him up to date on his flea / tick medicine. I told the vet I recently moved down to Florida, and the soonest appointment I could get with a new vet was not for a few more weeks. Besides, that was not the reason for the visit, but thank you for your unnecessary rude comments. The vet recommended catheters to try and flush the bladder, anesthesia so he could easily take x rays, blood tests, urinalysis , and x rays. A total of $970 was required to be paid before they would even begin. Okay- no problem, I want my baby healthy. This is where the quackery comes in. After leaving me pet there for several hours, I was told to return at 5pm (when they close) so the vet could explain to me why he couldn’t do anything to help, and that I would need to go see an emergency specialist immediately. After spending nearly $1000, the vet told me he was unable to see anything on the x-rays, that everything looked fine other than an enlarged prostate. He said he tried to pass a catheter 3x, and was unable to do so. He took a syringe and drained 50cc of urine from my dogs bladder so it wouldn’t explode, and charged me an extra $120 for that on top of the $970 I already gave them. I left not knowing what was wrong with my dog. They sent him home without pain medicine or antibiotics. They only told me “he needs to see an emergency vet tonight or first thing tomorrow”. $1100 in tests and x-rays, and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I brought my dog to Veterinary Healthcare Associates on Dundee rd in winter haven. AMAZING Vets. Highly recommend going there instead. I showed them the x-rays this Quack took, and within SECONDS, the vet pointed out multiple bladder stones in my dogs bladder. This vet cannot even read his own x rays!!! He told me over and over, there was nothing there. The vet at VHA also was astounded that this Quack put my Pug under anesthesia. They said anesthesia is only done under life threatening circumstances, as most dogs respond negatively to it and some breeds (such as pugs) it can be LETHAL. They could’ve killed my dog. VHA only had to sedate my dog to get the job done. Based off the urinalysis, they could tell my dog had a pretty mean UTI as well due to the blockage. VHA vets took my boy in, within a few hours and only 1 try with a catheter, cleared the blockage so my dog was able to pee again finally. Why it took this QUACK 3 tries with the catheter and he still couldn’t pass it through is beyond me. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE IF THEY ARE SICK. This guy has absolutely 0 idea how to read x-rays or diagnose (what the other vets office told me) what was a simple illness. Oh, and VHA charged me $300 LESS than this Quack did and they actually FIXED the issues AND sent me home with antibiotics and pain medicine. I will be filing complaints with the state, disputing the charge with my bank, and be blasting my negative experience all over social media. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!

Complete rip off of a vet. Rude in every way! I should have known there was a problem when I pulled into the parking lot and I was the only person there. Second red flag was the fact that before he does anything at all they make you pay $120 up front, which has never happened to me before at any vet at all. Third red flag was the unprofessional nature of the staff and doctor himself. Then he proceeds to tell me there is nothing he can do to help me after taking my $120 and keeping it for absolutely nothing and that if he could help me out the cost would be almost $700!!!! For an exam!!!! I would scream STAY AWAY!! But it looks like everyone already is. I found another vet the same day and they did everything I needed for under $300. Complete scammer!!! DONT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!! UPDATE!! Literally 80% of what the vet told me was false. This has made me so angry that I’m still upset 3 weeks later. I understand that some clinics are high end clinics and charge more but this place has the highest prices possible and the worst of care. You can speak with the doctor for 2 minutes and see he is in it for the money and does not have the patients needs in his heart. Bedside manner is absolutely horrible. I just can’t get over how much he flat out lied to me. And I know it was all lies because I got everything done exactly the way he said was impossible. SCAM ARTIST!!!
