PetSmart Veterinary Services - Boca Raton

I can't say enough wonderful things about our recent experience at the Petsmart Vet in Boca! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest smile from Isaiah at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming, immediately putting us and our dogs at ease. The vet tech, Jade, was thorough, compassionate, and truly attentive to every detail. She handled our fur babies with such care, making sure they were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire visit. Dr. Johnson was everything we could have hoped for in a veterinarian. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and most importantly, compassionate. She took her time to listen to every concern we had about both of our dogs, no matter how big or small and patiently answered even our dumbest questions. Not only did she address each issue with expertise, but she also offered helpful recommendations for healthier food choices and dental care, which we truly appreciated. What stood out the most was the love and attention Dr. Johnson showed to our pets. It was clear that she genuinely cares about the well-being of every animal she treats. We left feeling so reassured and confident that we had found the perfect place for our puppies. Without a doubt, this will be our forever vet for all our fur babies. We highly recommend Dr. Johnson and her amazing team to anyone looking for a caring, professional, and dedicated Vet. 5 stars all the way!

Compassionate staff, but Vet failed to warn me of the antibiotic Convenia and its potential side effects. My cat was sick with a UTI and she came home worse with the Convenia. Many vets are against this drug that stays in the animals system for two weeks. There is also a Facebook page regarding how many pets (especially cats) who have died from this drug. My complaint was that I was not made aware of the side effects of this drug. My cat passed, although she was pretty sick, I will never know if she died from the infection or the drug.

My Tuxedo Cat Coco is experiencing scattered patches of hair loss. I protectively watched, Dr. Donique Johnson gently performed a comprehensive examination that included a detailed questionnaire of my cat‘s medical/vaccine history, and head to paws physical assessment with the appropriate tools of the trade, otoscope included. She zeroed in on the chief complaint of hair loss, verbalizing the likely diagnoses. I especially appreciated that me, Coco’s mom, was included/considered when coming up with the treatment plan. Coco appears to likely be allergic to the saliva of fleas. Thank God it was not my worst fear, the dreaded mange. She performed treatment immediately explaining along the way, ensuring that I understood. I am a healthcare provider for humans not for fur babies. Jade her assistant, Afrikka office manager, everyone I interacted with were kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I highly recommend this business for the timely impeccable service provided. Coco relax stress free demeanor proves he gives his new vet home a paw up.
