How to Save Money at Harmony Veterinary Center
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google

I have owed this office a review for a long time! I worked in Veterinary care in the past and am pretty particular over who I trust with my animals. We were referred here by a friend. Hands down, this office is truly amazing and the Vets/Techs really do care about you and your animals. I began seeing Dr. Carly with my senior dog (she has since passed but she lived a full 15 1/2 years.) Dr. Carly was always so gentle and attentive to Ellie and later, my dog Pumbaa. To watch her (and all the Dr's) literally sit on their butts, on the floor and examine/connect with your pet is so heartwarming! They do everything to make your dog comfortable even if they may not be comfortable, which speaks volumes. They care about building trust with you and your pets. I never felt like I was being pushed to do anything that was unnecessary and was always appreciated of the honest answers I was provided. Never made to feel rushed. Very compassionate people. Ellie loved getting massages done for her pain & arthritis with Jamie. She was so gentle with her and I loved that I could be in the room for those "senior moments". They were affordable treatments and I really saw a change when she had them done. Following the passing of my Ellie, we fostered a dog (80lb pittie/mastiff mix) who was dog reactive but loved humans. He was intimidating for many but again, they had no issues sitting on the floor with him, feeding him all the good snacks, rubbing his belly and letting him kiss their faces. He sadly was diagnosed with leukemia in the short time we had him. They knew what we just went through with my senior dog and I can't begin to explain how kind and helpful they were in helping us do anything we could to prolong our Pumbaa's life. They told us that Pumbaa's story really pulled at their heartstrings and I could tell they meant it. We worked with Dr. Carly, Dr. Brown and Dr. Blasko. All were fantastic. Sadly, we had to say goodbye shortly after that diagnosis as he declined quickly but I will never forget how amazing this group was during what was an awful time for us. To add to that; on one of his last days with us, he had to be hospitalized for the day at Harmony and they allowed his Dad to stay with him for hours. (Stayed in the room for the entire day while he received his IV treatment.) I don't know if they knew this but it was actually his Dad's birthday that day and to be able to spend it with Pumbaa was just where he wanted to be. It meant so much that they allowed him/us to stay with him considering we knew our time was very limited. Sadly, I have since moved out of state and can't imagine finding an office as great as this one. Just know I'll never forget how you all improved my animals lives during the hardest part of theirs. (and mine!) Thank you all!!!

Harmony Vet Center is truly the best. Their entire staff is made up of some of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. From the first time I visited I knew this was a special place. They had a bed and a basket of toys in every exam room, and the doctors and technicians all got down on the floor with Saida for her visits. When she had a dental they took a lot of time to walk me through their extensive and well researched anesthesia protocols, since I had a lot of anxiety about anesthesia for my sighthound. We just went through about a month and a half of an illness that ended in the unimaginable loss of our beautiful, sweet girl Saida. Every time I called with a question they got me a quick answer, and they did everything they could for my sweet girl. Dr. Blasko and the entire team truly cared for her and did so much for her. On her last day, they made our girl as comfy as they could and gave us hours with Saida to snuggle, give her treats, and say goodbye, and were so kind and respectful and compassionate to us. I felt informed and heard every step of the way, never pressured or rushed into a decision. I want to call out Dr. Blasko for her care and attention to Saida (and me), and Veronica and Katie and all the other incredible technicians that cared for her during her time as a patient. They were always professional while still showing authentic care and emotion for me, my husband and our girl. This is such a special clinic and if you choose to bring your pet here for care, know that you are making the best choice for your best friend.

The staff is 5 star through and through, friendly kind caring and professional. Very astute and accommodating. Would suggest all pet owners patronize this establishment. Couldn't be more grateful and thankful for such an outstanding staff. Thank you so much for the care you all showed for my dog Diesel. Flowers and Starbucks for all...

Dr Carly Stephens has to be my favorite vet I've come across. She really takes the time needed to care for your pet. She is extremely caring and knowledgeable. We worked out a health plan for my kitty and she's been there with us the whole way. She has incredible follow through, which was helpful when it got stressful, when my Olive got really sick. The whole clinic is really amazing, but I have to say Dr Stephens has a place in our heart.
