How to Save Money at Well Pet Vet Clinic
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

This place is always 10 they truly care about the people and their pets it's so obvious the minute you drive into the parking lot. The prices are more than reasonable and affordable and they aim to make it that way they truly are not there to rip you off. And they take care of the pets needs. We've always taken our dogs to them and we have taken them anywhere else we were charged outlandish fees and nothing was even done . Just know that this vet cares and it shows it's a small place but it packs a lot of love for the pets, their owners, and the community that they serve. I no longer live in the area but I still drive an hour and a half to bring my pets here that's how much I Trust them and thats how awesome they are!!!!! Thank you Well Pet Vet Clinic for caring for all of my dogs Lady,Copper,Roscoe, and Racer

The wait was Horrific at the shot clinic, they also started 30 mins after the stated time, inside smells terrible ..I saw at least 5 techs working, not sure how it can take 2hrs for 5 people to get a vaccine and leave, I feel like they can run the program much more streamline and efficiently...I would recommend pay an extra 10-20 dollars at a regular vets office ..wish I could recommend this office, it's right down the street and when we first started going there..over 15 years ago the staff and vet was awesome, I ended up changing vets because of a couple vets we saw there that left a bad impression on us and the care our dogs received, now can't even recommend for just a cheaper vaccine, a 10 dollar savings isn't worth 2hrs to me...sorry well vet. We won't be back

They are super nice to me and my dogs. The prices aren't horribly scary as other professional vets. They seem to genuinely care about us. Doctor Noe is such a sweet, kind, and professional person! Thank you, doctor, in gently putting my beloved sick Charlie to sleep in a humane way.

DONT RECOMMEND. This place takes way too long for a damn vaccine. Don’t be tricked it’s not as cheap as people say. You could definitely find better vets with similar pricing just need to dedicate time to search. Hope this helps.

I just took on a small nonprofit kitten rescue after a friend of mine passed and left it to me. In the process of the Rescue changing hands I had to find a new vet. Right now, not too many vets are taking on new clients. It has been insanely hard to find quality veterinary care and to even get appointments for spays and neuters. Well Pet has been incredibly gracious to my rescue and kept an open door for us to get our surgeries done. They also helped me get an oral surgery for a cat that I’ve been waiting for over six months to have done. The staff is incredibly friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure that they communicate well with me and that all of the kittens are happy and healthy before, during, and after their surgeries. Dr. Noe does a beautiful job on the procedures. Overall, I am just really grateful to have found her clinic. If there were 10 stars I would hit the 10 star button.
