How to Save Money at Jet's Pet Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
This place is amazing. Our cat had a mass growing on her ear and we got a quote for a surgery from another vet that was outside our means. I tried calling several other places to see if we could find another option, but no one would even give me a ballpark without bringing her in for an initial visit. Then I called Jet's. I was immediately given the doctor's personal phone number to text our existing quote, details about our kitty, and some photos of the mass. This was after 5PM, mind you. Within minutes he gave me his own (much more affordable) quote, and even offered to throw in an x-ray our prior vet recommended at no charge. And unlike the other vet that was booked 3 weeks out, he could do the surgery THE NEXT DAY. In the office he and his staff were patient and understanding, gave me tons of time and details about options with the surgery and the pros and cons etc. He made absolutely sure I understood my choices and didn't pressure me in any direction, didn't favor an option that was less work, etc. The procedure went well, and I could bring her home the same day, and told I could text the doctor until late at night if she had any issues. His staff called to check on her the following day, and the doctor texted me personally the day after that. Such a wonderful little pet clinic, I'm just blown away by the level of service and caring from the whole staff. Highly recommended!

**Rating: ★★★★★ (10 out of 5 stars)** Finding a vet hospital that was both affordable and willing to help my 3-year-old dog diagnosed with Pyometra felt like an impossible task. My family was absolutely distraught, watching her condition worsen daily. After sleepless nights, we spoke with Dr. Cruz at Jet’s Pet Hospital, and for the first time, I felt a glimmer of hope. Despite being two hours away, I knew I had to make the drive. By the time I got there, I was an emotional mess, tears streaming down my face. Dr. Cruz and his incredible staff welcomed us with such kindness and compassion that I instantly felt a sense of relief. They comforted me, assuring me that my dog was in good hands. Dr. Cruz is nothing short of a miracle worker. The situation was more severe than we initially thought, but he managed to pull her through with expertise and genuine care. It’s been a week since the surgery, and our pup is on the mend, happy and healthy, all thanks to Dr. Cruz. If I could give him more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat. The level of care, compassion, and professionalism at Jet’s Pet Hospital is unmatched. I would not hesitate to drive those two hours again, knowing my dogs are receiving the best care possible from Dr. Cruz and his amazing team. They have our heartfelt gratitude, and we are forever grateful for the second chance they’ve given our furry family member. Thank you, Dr. Cruz!

I highly recommend Dr Cruz. He really cares about our community's pets and I'm glad to have been introduced to him through a rescue I help with fostering pets. Without a hesitation, he was able to schedule us for an emergency surgery for my son Jax. His prices are very manageable and I'm grateful for Dr Cruz and Jets Pet hospital for being there for us.

Dr. Cruz is the best. I drove all the way from San jose California to this clinic because I knew he is best Dr in California. My dog was in critical condition, she had already given birth two dead puppies and third one was dead inside and she needed immediate help. I called many clinics in San jose and no one did help me saving my dog’s life. I heard about Dr Cruz from a friend and called him at midnight, he was very responsive and scheduled a visit for tomorrow morning. I drove 7 hours from San jose at night to get to the clinic next morning. Once I was there everything was ready to take care of my dog. Dr Cruz explained everything so clearly so I was comfortable with the procedure. Thankfully, Dr Cruz removed the dead puppy and saved my dog’s life with a reasonable price. He also referred me to a good clinic in San jose for follow ups. I haven’t seen anyone like Dr Cruz that cares about patients. He is the most knowledgeable, Trustworthy and reliable doctor I know. Thank you Dr Cruz

Amazing and affordable. I had taken my pup to another vet, and they were charging an arm and a leg. I called 5 minutes before closing, and the vet took time to hear my concerns and provide me with pricing. My dog got the care he needed and was sent home with meds. The Doc gave us his personal number and followed up to make sure he was doing well. Thank you so much for your help! I'm sure we will be back. The service was overall amazing 🙏
