How to Save Money at 24/7 PetVets
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

Because they saved my little one 🐈 , I would rate this clinic 5 Stars ⭐️ . The check in time was 1 hour and got the results with 30 minutes. Vet determine it was pancreatitis and I agreed on what medical measurements to take for him to get better. The next day I was able to take him home.

I took my dog in because she had a piece of tree stuck in her mouth. I was nervous because I had never been to this office before. The staff was friendly and the office was very clean and updated. The doctor was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. They worked to keep my very anxious dog calm and the procedure went well. I believe we received a call from the veterinarian within 30-40 minutes after we left. It is rare to receive a call from the doctor, so I really appreciated this service. Although the price might have been more than what we would have paid at our regular veterinarian, I do not think the cost was outrageous considering they gave my 85 pound baby four to five different medications to stop the pain, put her to sleep, and wake her up. They even gave us back $99.00 because there were no complications. Not bad for a emergency vet hospital.

I would give 10 stars if available. I called Thursday evening, about euthanasia for my son's dog. The person that answered (i apologize i do not remember her name) was professional and empathetic. When we arrived, everyone that i had contct with was the same. They treated Limpy with care and dignity, the vet was thorough in explaining the procedure and what would occur. I am a healthcare professional and it was very nice for him to take the time to explain. ( i have been yhrough this many times so i knew) Limpy and I thank you again

I went to 24/7 on July 14th to have my dog examined as my regular vet had been closed when the incident had occurred . I enjoyed the experience entirely. There was a bit of a wait , but I’m very fortunate they were able to see him. The care they gave my dog was quite adorable. I loved seeing how they attended to him and explained his issue throughly. I appreciated the explanation of the price range for the treatment and the honesty of the prices behind them. Because the issue wasn’t that severe, I was even reimbursed. All in all, I recommend this clinic and will use there services when needed. Thank you 24/7 for attending to my dog.

Absolutely worst place!! They got bent out of shape because I wanted a second opinion had me wait then called me back Vet came in saying “I’m your second opinion and your cat is gonna die and how serious it was” but delaying me from leaving and giving my cat back never again!. Also that price $3,976 I paid $875 at a different Vet ER with options!!!! Not payment plans or financing reasonable prices. To be honest I think they were more wanting me pay then to save my cat.
