How to Save Money at CASE Animal Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
Today was my first time bringing my dog here for emergency services. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant, professional and caring. I am very impressed with this facility and how they handled everything.. Molly, at the front desk went above and beyond. Dr. Ali Haghnazary is who saw my dog. He took the time to review all the records I brought in and after examining her he came to talk to me about his findings and what his thoughts are regarding her symptoms. He was gentle, compassionate, really listened to me and I can tell he really cared for not only Lucy, but for me as a concerned dog owner as well. He didn't put my dog through a bunch of unnecessary testing, rather he gave options and guidance on what he thought are the best next steps. Although We still aren't 100% certain of the cause of her symptoms, I left feeling more at ease then when I went in and we came up with a good plan to get us closer to what's going on with my sweet girl. Thank you Dr. Ali and the entire team.

Mike & Dr. Yang were able to assist me and my golden doodle who got himself into trouble. Very knowledgeable staff, nice facility with great amenities. Other hospitals were unable to take him because it was a non trauma incident. We went in Saturday around 12 am and Case Animal hospital was able to attend us as soon as they could. Will highly recommend for anyone seeking urgent care at any time of day.

CASE Hospital (open 24 hrs!) is everything a pet parent could want when it comes to urgent pet care. My dog had an emergency after 10pm on a Friday night. They swiftly answered my call, urged me in, greeted me at the door, and took my pet in for examination right away, all with such kindness and compassion. I felt they were treating me, the nervous pet parent, as well as my dog! The entire staff was fantastic and so kind. I am so grateful for them. The veterinarian quickly and confidently provided thorough care and honest recommendations. They even gave me documents to take home in case I wanted to return to my own home vet the next day. They explained their assessment to me very well and ultimately let me make the decisions on my dog's care, which I greatly appreciated. My anxious Australian Shepherd was surprisingly comfortable with the office and staff, despite his medical emergency. The facility itself is also incredibly clean, professional, and welcoming, I was wildly impressed! Compassionate and thorough pet & pet-parent care at it's finest & all with a sense of urgency that is much appreciated. I feel so comfortable knowing I can rely on CASE if my dog has another emergency at any time of the day or night. Thank you, CASE Hospital!

Best Vet I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot over the years. My sweet Yellow Lab ‘Sadie’, 14 yrs, was at the end of her life but unfortunately it was Labor Day weekend so my usual Vet, and most Vets, were gone for the long weekend. Sadie’s suffering became too much so I was desperate and searched for “24 hour vets in my area”. I gambled on CASE because I didn’t know what else to do to relieve her suffering. Even the meds my local vet had prescribed were not doing anything any longer. This was 3:00 AM. I called in advance, not even expecting anyone to answer the phone, and talked to ‘Mike’. He could not have been more supportive. They were ready for us when we got there, with a gurney to take Sadie in. The staff there couldn’t have been any better. So much compassion. So attentive. Every item and every service was explained to me before they charged me and the prices were very fair. In the end, Sadie passed over the rainbow bridge. As grim as the situation was, the CASE vet and staff were exceptional. Thanks so much to Mike and Dr Yang, and the entire staff.
