How to Save Money at All About Restful Pets
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google

Our Diesel boy was 12yrs old. He was the best furr baby. We had to make a very hard decision for him. After a very bad day we had called Angel Vet and they didn't have any providers available but they so kindly recommended All About Restful Pets to us. They were kind and compassionate on the phone. The schedule was accommodating for our urgent need. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Falcone. When she arrived she explained the process and helped put our Diesel boy at ease. When we were ready to say good-bye, she reassured us that he had the ending that he deserved with his family loving on him the whole time. While none of us ever want to say goodbye, if and when you have to we highly recommend All About Restful Pets. Thank you again for your kindness and compassion and for taking great care of our pup pup as he crossed over The Rainbow Bridge. ❤️🌈❤️

We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved Labrador, Polly, and I can’t say enough good things about All About Restful Pets. Dr. Falcone was incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. What made the process a little easier was how seamless it was to schedule everything online. Being able to take care of the arrangements without needing to have a conversation beforehand was a huge relief—talking about it was just too hard at the time. Dr. Falcone brought such peace and dignity to Polly’s final moments. I’m so grateful for the care and respect she showed our girl and our family. Thank you for everything.

Although this was one of the worst moments of my life, All About Restful Pets made the experience a little bit more tolerable. They were able to accommodate me and my Otis last minute. The doctor was compassionate and respectful during the entire process. She explained what to expect, asked about past happy memories, and did not rush me into anything. I truly appreciate this company for everything. Thank you 💔

This is a hard review to write. It is hard to give 5 stars to one of the saddest moments. Our boy Chance was 13yrs old. He was just THE BEST dog/friend/companion. We knew his time was coming. We had plans for an in-home end for him. However, after a very bad day we had called Angel Vet and they didn't have any providers available and they recommended All About Restful Pets to us. They were kind and compassionate on the phone. The schedule was accommodating for our urgent need. When Dr. Gina Sarnelli arrived she explained the process and helped put our Chance at ease. When we were ready to say good-bye, she ensured that he had the ending that he deserved surrounded by most of his family. While none of us ever want to say goodbye, if and when you have to I highly recommend All About Restful Pets. Gina, thank you again for your kindness and compassion and for taking great care of our Chance as he crossed over The Rainbow Bridge.

On December 13, it was with great sorrow and broken hearts that we had to send our loving Ivy Grace over the rainbow bride. She was our beloved rescue for over 12 years and our baby girl. Ivy had the biggest loving heart and loved everyone. Dr. Sarnelli was so compassionate and kind. Ivy loved the treats and affection Doctor gave her. She explained what was going to happen thoroughly so we had no surprises. She talked with us for a while and made us as comfortable as possible. She gave us all the time we needed to be with Ivy. We were never rushed, but the time had to come. When it was time to say our final goodbyes, we didn’t know if we could cope, but Ivy passed over in our arms peacefully and with dignity. We received Ivy’s paw print as a remembrance. Dr. Gina was so so kind and gentle. She wrapped Ivy in a paw covered blanket like swaddling a baby. All About Restful Pets was wonderful to work with. We got an appointment very quickly. I’m sorry, but we don’t remember the name of the person we spoke with to schedule the appointment, but she was so understanding. They even sent a thoughtful card a few days later. It is very sad when we must send our fur babies over the rainbow bridge, but for us having Ivy pass at home was the kindest last thing we could do for her. If you must say goodbye, we highly recommend All About Restful Pets. We want to thank you all for the kindness and generosity of spirit you gave to use at this very sad time.
