How to Save Money at Noe's Ark Animal Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

I wish I could give Noe’s Ark 10 stars! They are absolutely fantastic!!! We found our boy (or he found us) in the middle of nowhere October 2023 and we took him to Noe’s Ark to get checked out and treated for the many ailments he had from living his approximate first year on his own. All of the staff has been so incredibly kind, patient, caring, informative, and supportive to us as we’ve navigated adopting and caring for a stray (it started as fostering, but that’s another story haha). Eclipse loves all the staff! Even after all the poking and prodding he’s had to go through over the months to become a healthy pup, he still gets incredibly excited when we get out of the car and he sees (and smells) where we are. The staff knows how to give treatments (even the not so fun ones) with compassion and extra care to make our boy as comfortable as possible. It truly shows considering all he’s been through and he doesn’t run the other way when we go for an appointment! If you need a vet for your fur baby, Noe’s Ark is your place!!

We have been clients of Noe's Ark Animal Hospital for nearly 20 years. We credit them for the long lives of our cats, the last two of which have been diabetic. The staff has all been very helpful and understanding. They seem to love our cats, too. The vets are knowledgeable and always call with the results of blood tests after a visit. They are very responsive whenever we need prescription refills. The vet even responds to emails with an email or phone call. We can't say enough good things about the quality of care our cats have received at Noe's Ark.

I recently decided to change clinics because we can't get timely appointments anymore, with Family Vet Care in Mesa. What I like about Noe's: Appointments same day or within 2-3 days. Specialized treatments offered; Dental , cold laser treatments etc. Dr Daniel is very approachable and empathetic. Any concern I've had regarding diagnosis or medication is handled quickly, professionally and with utmost respect.

Every team member at Noe's, whether is a Client Service Representative, Vet Tech/Assistant, Veterinarian is exceptional in their kindness and professionalism. Both me and my fur baby felt welcome, cared for, confident in the abilities of this wonderful team. Our boy had an extreme case of diarrhea and gas . He was restless, exhausted and dehydrated. He had a thorough examination, was given fluids for hydration and take home medications. Within 12 hours of his visit and taking his medications he had an amazing improvement and slept like a baby that night! A huge thank you to everyone at Noe's for their kindness, professionalism and expertise in diagnosing and treating our fur baby!!!

I was able to make an appointment for my cat within a day as she was having issues with her anal glands. From reception to Dr., it was a great experience for myself as well as my cat who felt much relief after. I am now switching all 5 of my fur babies over to Dr. Mendolia! Thank you for the great hospitality!
