How to Save Money at EverLoved Veterinary

Schedule Regular Vet Visits

One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.

Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions

Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.

Pet Insurance

Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Getting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask

Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:

Tell me about your experience with [pet type].

Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.

How do you handle emergencies?

You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.

How do you communicate with pet owners?

Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.

Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?

Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.

Do you have any questions for me about my pet?

This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.

Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?

Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

Absolutely lovely experience. Lydia could have not been more caring and more compassionate! She spent nearly 2 hours with us explaining every detail every step of the way! She answered all our questions with patience and honesty! I wish I could become her patient! I know Mordi will be looking forward to returning.

The most down to earth people .. I’ve been mourning the loss of my 18 year old peanut boi since the last day of August .. doctor weber and Lucy were everything I never knew I needed until I needed them. I owe these ladies my heart and soul. My 18 year old boi was my child ..my whole being. They gave me so much reassurance and love. I will always be loyal to these ladies 🫶🏻 I couldn’t have gone through my bois passing without them!

I am leaving this review, not for myself, but for someone who posted on a local app looking for help with their cat who was slowly suffering and dying. She stated that she needed help finding someone to assist with humanely laying the cat to rest but her money was limited. As I scrolled through the comments on her post, several people recommended this office. That alone was a sign that this place deserves a ton of praise. But then, as I kept scrolling, I saw where the original poster returned to the group to notify everyone that she had taken some of their advice and contacted Dr.Lydia Sullivan-Webb and she was able to take her cat in to be laid to rest. She stated that the doctor was compassionate and made the entire process bearable. She never stated how much she had to pay, but based on her post, I have no doubt that it was a more than reasonable price in exchange for such excellent service. I feel that people so often go out of their way to tell you when you do something wrong but they forget to sing your praises when you get it right. I know that this office already has all five star reviews which, again, SPEAKS VOLUMES, but I wanted to still take a moment to share this story and leave another review that may just help someone else in this situation. This doctor deserves every drop of recognition for obviously not doing what she does just to get a paycheck, but doing it to truly help people and animals. She is a rare gem. It's not my experience but it still deserves to be shared. ❤️

During what can only be described as an incredibly traumatic event anyway made more traumatic by having to take your dog to the vet to the place they normally don't like I was thankfully told about everloved. I called them thinking I had more time they gave me the care coordinator told me everything I need to know then unfortunately the very next day I had to make a very difficult decision for my 15-year-old daysy dog. Dr Weber came out to the house I was able to say goodbye holding her in my arms so that other dogs could say goodbye as well she made a very sad situation a little bit easier..

I will be forever grateful for Dr. Webber. We said goodbye to our sweet Rozko yesterday. He was the goodest boy for almost 13 years. Dr Webber was so incredibly kind. Accommodating. Gentle. Intentional. She made the experience feel so special, and we are at peace knowing we did the very best thing we could for him at the end. She was so very gentle with him, and with us. She is an angel. I hope that we will be able to use her service for all our critters. I literally have never met a more kind human. She also gives really good hugs she made me feel so safe. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart Dr. Webber. And thank you so so so much to Miss Lucy that helped me coordinate this appointment for our family, you were so very kind and helpful and you made the phone call so incredibly easy for me. You are all amazing humans.
