I Love This Insurance!
I had Healthy Paws for my Tibetan Mastiff for 10 years until he passed. I was ALWAYS pleased with the ease of filing a claim and the quick reimbursement time. Both of my cats have Healthy Paws insurance. It is a good thing because I had to file a claim for my 7 month old kitten. I have to say that it was a little more tedious and took longer to get this claim settled compared to previous claims that I had for my dog. I was expecting this because it was the first time filling a claim for my baby. There was a slight misunderstanding and when I submitted his medical history, which until this emergency visit, he only had shots, they submitted the shot invoices as claims. Those "claims" had to be settled first (I didn't submit as a claim because I knew they were not eligible) before the emergency claim could be settled. The entire claim payout took a few weeks. I'm used to getting reimbursed within a week. I still stand behind a 5 start rating because they were just being extra vigilant and I know the first ever claim requires more documents to be provided. Hopefully, I won't have to use this insurance in the future, but it's very reassuring just knowing that my pets are covered.

Fantastic customer service
Healthy Paws response to claims is exceptional. Our submissions are reviewed, approved, with reimbursement deposited in our bank within days. Customer service has also routinely emailed us to follow-up on our pets' treatment and see how they are feeling/healing. Customer service is fantastic and it's clear we're more than a number. We are extremely grateful for our coverage and one less worry when dealing with our pet's illness. We routinely recommend Healthy Paws to friends and coworkers and will continue to use for all our future pets.

Reliable and responsive
Quick reimbursements. Never any additional inquiries needed. Just submit my bill through the app and no more than a week later at the absolute latest is the money back in my account. My dog has needed many surgeries and medical appointments and never once have we had any pushback from healthy paws, highly recommend.

I have been a loyal Healthy Paws Pet…
I have been a loyal Healthy Paws Pet Insurance customer since 2019, when my beagle Maisie was just 5 months old, and I’ve always hoped never to need it. However, this past month, Maisie, who is now 5 years old, gave us quite a scare. She ended up in both our regular vet and emergency care for fluid on her heart and in her belly. Thankfully, Healthy Paws made the claims process straightforward, and they quickly reimbursed me for her treatment.
One recommendation I would give to new policyholders is to proactively submit all your dog’s medical records each time they visit the vet. Healthy Paws requires all records to process the first payout, and that did cause a slight delay in my case. However, overall, the experience was positive. I was even touched by the follow-up email they sent a week after her check-up to check on Maisie’s progress.
I highly recommend Healthy Paws for anyone seeking reliable and compassionate pet insurance. Their support during a stressful time was invaluable, and I’m grateful for the peace of mind they provide.
