The vets at River Glen are extraordinary. I took my cat Rascal in for emergency surgery to clear a blockage in his intestines. They were so professional and compassionate during a very stressful time and guided me through the whole recovery process. They treated us as family. Rascal & I are so grateful and I recommend them to anyone in the Oakville area. Prices are also reasonable. Thank you to all the staff at River Glen.

So impressed with the Vet and his Assistant who on short notice made time to squeeze us in to see my Mums' dog as a new patient in the afternoon on New Years Eve! The Vet examined, cleaned and treated an infection in both ears! The dog is now happy and so are we that we have met this Assistant and Vet who truly love and care for animals! we took our cat here back in march for a spay and the service was amazing! Dr. Hashish is very attentive and kind to the animals he treats. He gave us a print out about the details of her surgery which was very informative and helped calm our nerves. he is now our regular vet and we are very happy! highly reccomend coming if you are in the area!

We were referred to River Glen and Dr. Nour’s amazing team from our regular vet when our male cat, Tito, was experiencing urinary issues. After several unsuccessful attempts to unblock him, an emergency surgery was necessary. The day before the procedure, Dr. Nour’s team spoke with us over the phone to get an overview of what would happen during this next process. Upon arriving for pickup, the clinic was and continued to be extremely clean, tidy, and well kept. Throughout our pickup, Dr. Nour throughly explained everything regarding Tito’s care, and they provided a text number for any post-surgery questions or concerns. This not only eased our anxieties but offered us the reassurance that someone was there to answer our questions about next steps with our baby boy. Throughout Tito’s recovery, Dr. Nour, Assistant Dr. Mattar, and the entire team, were incredibly supportive during our unexpected daily visits for rechecks (Tito’s muscles were being difficult). They addressed all of our concerns with compassion and patience, and provided hands-on experience like up close ultrasounds and learning to feel the sizes of the bladder throughout the process. They worked with us to find timing for visits with work schedules and even lended safety equipment like a large dog crate that Tito spent a couple recovery days in. Thanks to the invaluable knowledge, reassurance and care (and treats), Tito is back to sweet self, peeing just fine, and enjoying being back at home with his siblings. We cannot express our gratitude enough to Dr. Nour, Dr. Matter, Elisha and Kaiden. While we hope that we won’t face these challenges again, it is a comfort to know that there is such a dedicated team there for us if needed.
