We love Butler Vet! Dr. Wood and her staff are very friendly and caring. They have always been there for us even in an emergency. Our pets are treated like family. We have boarded our pets there also and have always been greatly satisfied. Highly recommended !

These folks never fail my babies. When I call with a major concern they jump to get my babies in. The care and compassion they have towards my babies is amazing! They are busy but always take the time to answer my questions and my concerns! And because of that all my babies(chihuahuas) are happy healthy and on the mend! Even my daughters pitbull is on the mend and healthy! Yall are great! Thank you for the excellent care you give!

Unfortunately, after almost 20 years, and 4 cats, my trust and heart have been completely broken. Things have changed at Butler, and the hired staff act like guards. A pet emergency requiring me to speak to the vet I have trusted for so long shouldn't require me to beg receptionists for approval to speak to the person I trust most there. As I am out of town, it also should not involve me loading up a very old guy who is going to be negatively impacted by a trip just so I can make another appointment. $$$. Yep, I was understandably upset about the total lack of caring for my kids emergency, my ignored need to speak to a trusted person in an emergency and their rabid over reaction concern for my resulting faux pa. Who holds an animals life hostage because of it? Well, apparently Butler does, or at least the guards at the door do. I doubt Dr. Wood even knows I called. And that's the sad part because I trust Dr. Wood. She's always been great. And as a bonus, because they(The STAFF who work as a TEAM) hurriedly closed out my boys account I can no longer get him the help he needs, or the "prescription" food he needs because they will not approve the request when I order it online. Its a shame Dr. Wood is being shielded so heavily by the "staff team", I find it hard to believe she would be happy about it. EDIT: You know what, nevermind. I'm not going to address your response(which are mostly lies). My crime? Asking to talk to my vet whom I've confided for almost 20 years. Your response? WE'RE A TEAM over and over and over. Frustration and emotion boiled over on my part. For that, I apologize and I'm sorry for yelling GOODBYE(1 word) over the phone. But I'd like to ask you, how old are/were Hope and LilBoy? And when you answer that wrong, ask yourself, why aren't you listening instead of blaming? And that's it. We've walked away, for the better and for good reason. I've said my peace. I grieve for my kid now, the one who suffered because you refused to listen. That's truly heartbreaking.
