Our kitty Lizzie ate some hair ties last weekend. We called our normal vet on Monday morning at 8AM and explained our cat ate hair ties. They could not see her due to being full for the day, so we began to call other hospitals in the area. Most were either booked up or not accepting new clients, except for Hickory Tree Veterinary Hospital. The receptionist told us we could drop Lizzie off that morning. We dropped her off and left. Within a couple hours, we received a phone call and were updated with Lizzie's x-ray results. We picked her up that afternoon and were told to drop her back off the next morning for more x-rays and then surgery to remove the hair ties from her intestines. We were kept informed of Lizzie's status every step of the way and given estimates on costs for each procedure. So there were no surprise costs at the end. We felt the prices were very reasonable for the procedures performed. Everyone we spoke with at the hospital (either in office or over the phone) was extremely compassionate about our kitty's health. I really needed that too because I was a mess that first day we dropped her off. There is no doubt in my mind that if they had not seen her that day and perform surgery the next day, she would not have made it, so I am so grateful they got her in as quick as they did. We also got to take her home the day of surgery, which I appreciated because I don't think I could have slept if she had to spend the night at the hospital. Lizzie is at home now recovering and already feeling better. My husband and I have decided that we will go to Hickory Tree for any future veterinary needs. Thank you so much Dr. Cope, Dr. Ashley, and all of the wonderful staff! You saved our kitty's life!

The receptionist Jessi is so RUDE! She hung up in my face very unprofessional. Then when I kept calling back she going to say stop harassing us. First off this place text me 3xs last month for my new debit card for a wellness plan I didn’t respond hoping they would cancel. However today they slide my card for the wellness plan. I’m a confused on how. I needed clarification & request a refund and this to be fix. Yes I am frustrated because she going say wait til Monday for the manager. That was not acceptable for me. The audacity of the receptionist to hang up in my face. Keep hanging up when I call then say I am harassing her. Glad you are the victim Karen!!! Smh! Going back reading the reviews I see this place has had numerous complaints about the front desk staff being rude! I want to speak with someone ASAP bc Jessi owes me an apology!

Phenomenal. I moved from NY a few months ago and early on my cat got sick, was losing weight rapidly and wouldn't eat a thing. I thought I was going to lose her. Hickory tree got us in fast and ran a variety of tests giving detailed information on their findings by the time I got her back. She had hyperthyroidism presenting oddly because of her lack of appetite but they still diagnosed that day and got her going on meds to manage it and help her recover. She's back to her normal self now with just meds 2 times a day to manage her condition! We've also boarded her at their facility since for when we travel and she comes home happy and healthy.
