I was extremely disappointed by how inept the staff was at handling pets. When your profession requires you to be skilled with providing care to pets, you should be able to adequately administer that care within reasonable means. We had a muzzle on our dog as a precautionary action and they acted as if they could not offer him vaccines or bloodwork because they thought he would be too aggressive. He growled a bit, but never once moved his head to antagonize anyone. They said that they feared he would thrash, which he did not and they refused to even attempt to complete his bloodwork due to this. He's a dog and does not enjoy strangers touching him, which is fairly common. He did not pose any threat or even attempt to behave aggressively despite the "under his breath" growl. They also stated that they could not provide care to our dog if an owner had to hold him in any way. Dogs trust their owners more than anyone, so I'm not sure what kind of rule says that dogs cant be supported by their owners while receiving vaccines and bloodwork. We were charged full price for the all of the services that were requested and they refused to provide all of the services that were part of the "package" just because they are inept to care for and comfort the animals that are receiving services.

The check in process, the majority of the staff and the cost were all great! The only thing that really got me is the fact the vet continued to tell me she didn’t like prong collars after she could tell I was visibly uncomfortable. She was genuinely upset my pup was wearing one. We have seen nothing but great success from both of our dogs wearing one. Also our highly skilled trainer recommended them to us.

Horrible customer service. I have a valid, current prescription for Simperica Trio. I found for less $$ elsewhere. I am now on day12 of waiting for vetco approval - they have a 5 day turn around expectation. I have called numerous times and the company requesting approval has called and faxed multiple times. Each time vetco gives a different rude, condescending answer. Last "advice" I got was to go into a physical store and cause a scene as they will get to my order when they get to it. No wonder you have lost so many customers, add me to the list! You just want to milk people out of more $$.

Love the new system. You schedule your appointment, show up on the day and time, and your pet is seen within a few minutes. Big contrast from the past when you lost most of your day lining up to get your pet seen, with the risk of not getting seen do to the high volume of people trying to get their pets in.

Asked for a Distemper vaccination but was not told there were two options, was given the more expensive automatically and we didn't catch it until after getting home. Prescription for HW medication was brand specific to the one they sold (again, didn't realize until getting home) and not the one we wanted to use. Appointments required but even though we arrived 20 minutes early for our appointments (which were less than an hour after appointments started) we weren't seen until almost an hour later because people scheduled before us were allowed to be seen even though they arrived late for their appointments (yes they actually told us this too!). Tried to get HW prescription changed and were told would need to schedule a new appointment to get that done. Except now appointments are TWO WEEKS OUT. Did we make mistakes? Yes, but that does not absolve this organization of their responsibility in this as well. Very chaotic and poorly organized. When calling in to Customer Service afterwards, was told that they could not do anything about any of my complaints (except the overcharged vaccination fee) as they are not licensed veterinary staff nor did they have control of the appointment scheduling. How are you then offering Customer service?
