My dog ate a piece of Raisin Bread!😫 We arrived within 30 minutes of ingestion, & he was treated immediately. The front staff (Nicole & Ashley) were AWESOME!! They were kind, compassionate, & quick to act. Dr. Yvette treated Panda right away, & did what was medically neccesary so that he would be OK. There were no extra tests/procedures done just to make money. God forbid there is ever another emergency with Panda, I will not hesitate to bring him here. Thanks so much for EVERYTHING!!❤️

Awful human beings! If I could leave a negative star I would! I had a kitten I adopted from a neighbor with a paw infection. I took this kitten there 3 times and each time they gave me antibiotics and sent me home without diagnosis first! It costed me almost a 1000 dollars and the infection persisted! I was frustrated and angry and super sorry for the poor kitten who was in pain and got into these money hungry heartless people at thrive. Please don’t take your pet there they are just there for your money and not the well-being for these innocent animals. I had to put that kitty in the shelter today as the infection was still there and I was out of money to pay for more vet bills. My heart is heavy and broken and I wish this place to close down! This infection could have been easily treated in one session if they gave the proper diagnoses. They pretend they are saving you money by giving you the cheaper options first, but in realty they work backwards to go to the beginning and in the process they just more money! Evil staff and Vets

I’m generally very hesitant to write a negative review about a veterinary clinic, being in the field and fully understanding how challenging it can be. However, we unfortunately had a very frustrating experience at Thrive today that I want to warn others of. We arrived right as they opened at 10AM, after calling ahead to ensure they could see us. My dog was not taken back for an exam until 5:30PM. After we waited for five hours, we very politely went to check where we were in the triage list and were told we were next in line. Two hours later, we went to check again and found that the receptionist thought we had already been seen and it appeared that we had been inadvertently removed from the triage list. Every other patient in the clinic had been seen before us, including others that arrived hours after us and were similarly non-critical. I fully understand that triage is important and expected to wait, but being forgotten and waiting nearly 8 hours for what ended up being a 5 minute consult with the vet is extremely frustrating. While we were thanked for our patience, nobody ever apologized for forgetting we were there, which was clearly an accident but made for an extremely frustrating day for us. In summary, the vet care here is perfectly adequate. Everyone is extremely nice. The customer service just left a lot to be desired for us today.

It has been long time since I have written a Google review, but I believe my experience here warrants one, especially since I was convinced to go here for my pet by the number of five star reviews. Good things first: The front staff was friendly and the check in process was easy. The building seemed clean, and the practice of getting pets into individual rooms to wait is a good one. Practical things second: I am aware of the cons of using an urgent care facility, and was prepared for a wait of an hour or an hour and a half. I did not expect to immediately be seen, or even be told that I would be immediately seen. However, I went to Thrive Urgent Care at 10:15 (15 minutes after opening), hoping that I would be out by 12:15 for a minor but problematic issue that my dog was having that was distressing him enough that he was yelping in the night and that his skin looked irrirated and red. I wanted to make sure that if he needed a specific type of cream or anti-allergy medicine he would receive it, and his usual vet couldn't see him over the weekend. I figured that this practice would be better than an emergency vet because it said it was for non-life threatening issues, including "skin issues". Bad things third: I got into an individual room around 10:30, and a vet tech came and did my pet's vitals within 30 minutes and told me that the vet would be in shortly. Great news, right? No, and my pet, who is anxious like many pets at the vet, was whining and shaking the whole time. At 12:15, I asked how much longer it would be from the front desk, and was told that I was next in line, so I took my dog out to pee and came back. I expected a wait of, at most, 15 to 20 more minutes. At 1:00, I asked again at the front how much longer it would be. In between, another front desk staff member saw me and was like, oh! I thought the vet had already seen you. It took 25 minutes later for someone to tell me that there was a more critical patient and they had. no. time. estimate. for me. At that point, forseeing myself waiting for a whole day, I left. Several other people, who came shortly after me, were also waiting, with no time estimate of how long it would take. I imagine they will be waiting for a while. This practice is clearly understaffed for the weekend with one vet. The communication between the vet and the front desk and then the front desk and patients is unacceptable. I get that emergencies happen and there are pets that have issues that are more critical. However, to have someone wait for 3 hours while dangling "you are next in line" is inappropriate. If someone told me early on, hey, there will be like at least another 2 hour or more wait due to a patient that just came in, then I could have made my own decisions to leave, stay, or come back. Human urgent care facilities give approximate wait times and have more doctors for these reasons. I was excited to find such a facility close to where I live; however, I will not be going back and will not recommend this to anyone who expects clear communication and predictable service.
