We have a German shepherd. She’s almost 3. She had been having some stomach issues and we feared the worst outcome. We didn’t want to return to our primary vet due to how traumatic it was for our baby. My wife and I were so nervous but read the reviews (minus the dumb one about the hamster like what?) and we loaded our girl up and took her here. Immediately welcomed by the NICEST people. People who treated our dog like their own. They not only helped our pet, they were so kind and understanding of our fear and our worries. They held our dog, they played with her, they spoke to her the way dogs are supposed to be spoken to. They did so much for our baby and were so PATIENT. Our shepherd is not easy. She is a Covid dog and not very socialized. It once did this place make us feel judged or condescended. They explained everything they did and were honest and up front from the beginning. 10/10 we felt so safe and secure with our pup here. From the blankets and beds they offer the dogs, the tissue they offered to our anxious butts, to the friendliness of EVERY single staff member. We appreciate so much everything this place has done for our dog. Thank you team.

The nicest vet I have ever seen, very knowledgeable and respectful. Would recommend for any of your pet emergencies. Amazing experience and work ethic . Customer oriented. After my dogs surgery the worked with us and saved us money. Got us our good boy home.

An emergency clinic is somewhere you certainly never hope to find yourself, but if I were in need of one again, I would without a doubt go back to VEG. Sadly, our dog Kaya had an issue that required us to go the emergency clinic at 2am on a Sunday morning. Kaya is our world and had been with us nearly 12 years. She does not do well with strangers and we were very worried about the open concept. They assured us they had rooms available if needed. Upon our arrival, we were the only ones present. The vet there took detailed records and notes and immediately triaged and identified the issue while being extremely compassionate. Unfortunately, it was not a good prognosis which we knew would come, but this was much faster than anticipated. The staff there were amazing, giving us a private room and offering to even make a bed for us to stay and sleep with our pup if we chose to try and contact our vet later in the morning for any other guidance as they recommended us not leave due to possible complications. Ultimately, they said we should stay so that in the event something else happened, they could immediately triage and address. It was just incredibly thoughtful and genuine how much they cared. The room was dimly lit with candles, a white noise machine and a thick comfortable rug and sofa. Kaya was usually very nervous at the vet and seemed entirely relaxed while being there, almost as if she did not realize it was a vets office. They even let me run to McDonald's to grab some last meals and items for her. After several hours, we made the incredibly difficult decision to do the right thing for our dog and she passed peacefully at the hospital in the room. The vet and staff were so incredibly sensitive and compassionate and gave us all of the time we wanted to spend with our pup prior to her passing and to grieve after prior to leaving. At no point did we ever feel pressured, rushed or as if we had to make a decision at the moment. We truly felt we could have stayed for days. They offered snacks and treats, drinks and water for both Kaya and us. We chose the private cremation and urn and received a call two days later to pick up her remains. They were again very compassionate and sympathetic towards us. Her remains were very nicely packaged with beautiful bags, urns and clay paw prints. We had our choice of a few different clinics and we drove a little extra to go here having never been to any of them. We have absolutely no hesitation that we made the right decision to come here and wholeheartedly recommend them. Yesterday I had taken my pup to VEG. He had a pretty good sized cyst on his paw that was compromising his ability to walk. Upon arriving they took us into a room because my dog did better being in a room vs with other pups which was super accommodating. Sam at the front desk checked us in and continued to check on us throughout the day and she was super sweet. Dr Stauffenberg came in to explain the procedure and broke down our options including the price of everything. She did such an amazing job on my pups surgery and spared his toe which was not an option at the other vet. She also called me the next day to check in on my dog and see how he was doing. April was also amazing with putting in the IV and overall just taking such great care of him. Made sure his paw was all wrapped and ready to go at the end. The surgery went amazing. They all took such great care of my pup and I cannot thank them enough with it being an already nerve wrecking experience they made it that much better. Highly recommend. They were literally the best.

With this being our first experience with an emergency vet I couldn’t have been happier. Dr. Curlin and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. Our sweet girl decided she wanted to venture out of her normal diet and eat a corn cob. We did radiographs and sure enough it was a corn cob. We decided to follow their course of treatment, while yes they are a little bit more expensive with them being an emergency vet I knew from the time I called them for advice to the time we left that we had made the right choice. One thing I really did love about the whole situation is that I got to stay with Angel through the whole experience except for the x-rays. Angel is a rescue who doesn’t do well in new places and the fact that we got to stay with her pretty much the whole time was really a great benefit to not only Angel but to me as well as a nervous dog dad. I remember how excited we all were when the cob came back up. I really appreciate everything the staff did there that day. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I also mean this is the nicest way possible. I hope to never see you guys again but in the case I do need you I know where I will be going.
