The vets here are great but I will not come back for grooming. We asked for a teddy bear cut for our doodle and he came out with shaved hair falling off him, his tail wasn’t trimmed, his ears were irritated, and his toes weren’t trimmed (which we found out later). Sadly it was a hack job. We just got him groomed with our favorite groomer and she had to shave his tail and between his toes because they weren’t taken care of at his last grooming appointment. Go somewhere else :(. The first picture was his grooming appointment with Cedar Ridge and the second was his most recent appointment with someone else.

The doctors and vet techs are always so kind and knowledgeable. They’ve taken great care of our dog. The services are reasonably priced, and I’ve even had them help me with bringing prices down a few times. They are very compassionate to the owners, too. Boarding has been fine, and I have no complaints. They seem to have taken good care of our dog. We’ll definitely use them again when we can’t get a friend to watch our dog! Grooming here has been terrible. This is the only reason my review is not a 5-star rating. The groomer didn’t do what I asked, and when I complained, she was very rude and dismissive. I’ve heard they recently changed staffing for grooming, so I hope it’s better now, but we won’t be back for that service. Overall, this is an awesome animal hospital and we’ll use them as long as we’re in the area!

Buckle up, it’s a long one. Dr Hansen is wonderful & I love every time he checks on our pets. The young college-age vet techs/receptionists have also been very sweet & kind to us & our pets. However, recently, we had an issue with our black lab a few times having an ear wound & we spent hundreds of dollars trying to get it contained. They recommended multiple surgeries & medications & we were concerned so we complied. They had us come back for multiple follow up appointments & sometimes when we showed up for those, they didn’t know we would be coming & didn’t have our names on the schedule. Of course they tried to accommodate for things that didn’t work out the best they could. They tried to help with cost & everything, but it was still a lot of money. Once we couldn’t afford the vet expenses anymore, we had to stop going. Miraculously, his ear finally healed when we just let it be. A particular older receptionist that answers the phones is also not very kind or compassionate. Pretty rude & condescending, actually. Sounds like a lot of other people have had problems with her as well, so I’m surprised she’s still employed there. I’m not uptight or high maintenance with my pets, I feel like I don’t ask for much or have high expectations when it comes to their vet care, but she sure made me feel like I was dramatic haha. I had a phone call with her yesterday trying to get an appointment for my very pregnant dog & she cut me off saying there was nothing they could do except an x ray. So, thinking that was my only option, I said okay put me down for your next nearest appointment. She refused because I couldn’t confirm the appointment immediately, even though I said I would clear my schedule & make it work. So I just politely said nevermind, thank you, hung up, & I have made an appointment with another vet who happily complied & told me the many options I have for my pregnant dog. Again, love Dr Hansen & the vet techs, so that’s why I leave any stars at all.

I love this vet clinic! You can tell the staff cares about your animal, and they do an amazing job of helping your animal feel as calm as possible. The pricing is decent as well , you're essentially getting what you pay for.

Update: For our latest appointment they gave us a 10% discount based on past issues. I’m grateful they were willing to listen to our concerns. Every time we call to ask what the pricing will look like for services, they tell us a low price, and then when we go to the appointment the charges are way higher than what they told us. We get charged more every single time, and there are certain (unnecessary) services we wouldn’t have opted for if we had known it would be as expensive. They’ve also treated our dog for things that ended up not being the actual problem, so we were charged for many medications and exams that were not needed. My advice is that you take your dog somewhere else.
