I was a client of Dr Cheyenne Holder in her old practice - as polite, personable and friendly as she is, she gave my two pets terrible advice. It was a blessing in disguise that I was forced to find a new doctor for my pet; she is on a low dose of medication and is thriving now with the help of my new veterinarian. Meawhile, Doctor Holder had told me nothing could be done for her. Unfortunately my other pet passed away 3 months after I went to Doctor Holder for labwork. My other pets death could have been avoided with proper care... I just didn't know it then and only found out after I decided to get a second opinion (after my pet passed away... too little too late). So as nice as a vet may seem, don't be afraid to get a second opinion. It may be what saves your pets life or what improves their quality of life.

I have to be totally honest/transparent here I been a dog mom for 1 year it's very new to me but I love it! Every experience I had at this hospital has been a bit racial/prejudice service. I am a bit offended because everytime I come in with my fur babe it's the questions of can you afford this or can you pay for this My doggie was hit by a car and when we just brought him in before they would bring him back to check him it was can you pay for this they gave me a price and when service were done they still over charged me. Waived a fee because I didn't agree to what they had done without my permission. Long storyy shorten I had to bring my baby back in because he was not eating and I just wanted to make sure he was not getting worse. Same questions wanted to do all these add ons and still charged me for the fees they had waived. we was not even there for any who I think my biggest vent is I A Black woman love my pet just as equally as a Caucasian or any other race. They never not once questioned any of them about finances . Please treat everybody equally we all make money to provide for our loved ones. If anyone could help me find a better vet I would appreciate it.

Dr. Holder more concerned if your pet is up to date on their v that treating them. Gave my fur baby a V without my knowledge or consent. I did not realize until I got the bill in the mail. That V served absolutely no purpose other than to add to my final bill. No lives were saved, Safe and effective? My fur baby died the next morning. She was there 2 months prior, and it was decided at that time it would be too stressful for her. Yet Dr. H decided it was a good idea to give a V to my fur baby while she was at her most fragile state with her lungs filled with fluid. According to information I found about the v given to my fur baby Merial Imrab, it should only be given to healthy animals. According to AAHA "If vaccines are administered to patients with existing medical conditions or health concerns, clients should sign an informed consent statement as increased risk of disease may result if the dog’s immunocompetence is compromised. When a dog experiences a possible adverse event, the veterinary team should report the specific patient and vaccine information to the vaccine manufacturer and/or the USDA." They did not follow the science here. I trusted them, and my fur baby died in their care within 24 hours. Edited to add: Recently we got a kitten. We thought enough time had passed, we would try Dr. Smith again. We made an appointment for a Friday afternoon. I had asked that Dr. Smith give me a call before the appointment. I never received a call from Dr. Smith. I called the morning of the appointment to confirm that I would be there. I arrived to the appointment, and was put in the exam room to have kitten weighed. After being taken to the exam room, I was told I did not have a confirmed appointment! I was told no appointment available for my kitten. I aske to speak to Dr. Smith, I was told he was out on a farm call. To my surprise he was out in the parking lot! I told him I wanted this kitten to get the care she deserved, and was confused. It was a Friday afternoon, I drove an hour in the heat on my only day off to bring kitten here. He went on to say I wrote bad things about him on the internet, which is this review. He then decided he would see the kitten after all. I go back in the building, and the staff informed him I raised my voice they claim I "yelled" at them. Then he changes his mind and refuses to see the kitten. This was unprofessional. He mentioned the staff cries when they lose any animal. That is nothing compared to the agony I feel each and every day because my cat died at his office and I trusted her care to his staff. They were more concerned about giving a v to a sick animal than treating a sick animal. Maybe she would have had a better chance had she not got that v? I am devastated by this loss to this day. He refused to see my kitten over this review. How professional is this? Anyone else would storm out of the office too after this experience. I never blamed his office or staff for any of my pets deaths ever until this happened, and that's because it appears the care could have contributed to the death of my cat that I loved dearly.
