I've had pets my whole life. Been to many vets. These guys rank up there with the best! From my old lady. Who passed out. I thought was dying. Grabbed her and rushed in. They were busy, but cared enough to look at her. And treat. To my old boy. Who, not even a week after I got out of hospital for my car roll over. Had reached the end of his line. Over the last few years. We had been working on keeping him pain free. They made his last moments as easy as possible. For all of us. Thank you 😢❤️

We’ve been seeing Dr Schwent for years. Once again, she was a miracle worker. Our dog, Ike was having digestion issues, along with diarrhea for a week. He wasn’t getting any better, so we finally decided that we needed to see Dr. Schwent. She knew exactly how to treat Ike and what medication to prescribe. Ike was finally able to sleep thru the night without waking us up to go potty. Thank you Dr. The following afternoon he had a normal bowel movement and was back to his old self. We wish we had gone in to see the Dr. sooner, next time. Thank you Dr. Schwent! You and your staff are the best!

My precious IG was very ill and we were treated very kindly. Every test result was explained so we could understand. We will be taking our other 3 dogs there.

I took my senior Boston Terrier in for a cyst removal. Dr. Marla Schwent and her staff took amazing care of him. She went above and beyond to explain all risks involved. She also informed me with extensive details regarding his health. The surgery was perfect, and unparalleled service when compared to any vet I’ve worked with. Thank you Highland Hills Pet Hospital!

Edit: response from the vet is inaccurate. The cat was seen and treated multiple times so their "investigation" was inaccurate. We've now had two bad experiences at this vet. I learned something new from a different vet which prompted me to leave a detailed review for one of our experiences. My son brought our cat here several times for what appeared to be an infection on the back of the cat, between his shoulder blades. The poor kitty had rubbed himself raw and had a bald spot. He was constantly trying to scratch the area. The vet kept prescribing antibiotics. My son bought the cat a sweater to try and protect the skin. This went on for years. We felt so sorry for the cat because he clearly was uncomfortable. A different vet quickly realized that it was his microchip causing the irritation. It makes perfect sense and the cat had surgery yesterday to have the chip removed. It's such a relief to know the cat is no longer suffering. It just seems that this vet didn't do the proper root cause analysis. I understand that diagnoses are often complicated and things can't always be easily figured out. However, we had the same bad experience for one of our dogs. He was a puppy at the time and was also misdiagnosed. In both cases, a lot of $$ was spent with zero resolution. Our pets weren't helped until we took them to a different practice.
