Updating my old 5-star review with a new 5-star review: I have been told by 3 veterinary dermatologists that my cat is among the most allergic animals they've ever treated. 8 years ago, we got connected with Dermatology for Animals, and since then, my little buddy's life has gotten so much better. Dr. Terry (and Dr. Laporte before her) is creative and undaunted with my kitty's unique case of Allergic-to-the-World. With regularly updated allergen shots based on allergens around where we live, and quick support when he has flares, we've finally got his situation under control. He used to over-groom to the point of becoming nearly hairless, then breaking the skin, which would get infected and therefore more itchy, which created a terrible cycle that once resulted in a staph infection that could have killed him. He still gets mildly itchy and occasionally takes out a small patch of fur, but we haven't had any major incidents in several years now, thanks to the great work of Dr. Terry and her team. I invested six months into a diet plan for my dog. It started at three months and had to be extended. I really liked the doctor . The next appointment I gave myself an hour for a 35 minute trip. There was a four car pile up 5 miles prior to the vet. The delay made me 12 minutes late. They’re cut off is 10 minutes and they would not see me even though I had been sitting in traffic for an hour and a half to get there. unfortunately, their policy makes it unfeasible to even go back. What a waste of time and money. Now I have to look for another allergy veterinarian to finish the job.

A very warm and welcoming team headed by Dr. Wendy Terry. We came to Dr. Terry after waiting 3 months as we coped as best we could with the help of our beloved vet with Carina's (our dog) acute skin condition. Although Dr. Terry was honestly not able to provide us with a diagnosis (as yet) her caring, thorough, spirited scientific approach resulted in providing Carina with immediate relief. Dr. Terry also answered all our questions fully to our satisfaction. Not to mention caring , immediate, curious, and competent follow up. thank you so much Dr Terry and your team. Started out as a positive experience and worsened from there. Very poor communication by Dr Terry and lack of responsiveness. Can take more than week to get a return call. Endless cycles of medication without any improvement and very expensive. Visits last 2+ hours with little information. I was called by the office about my last visit and was told of a cancellation a few days earlier. Upon arriving and speaking with the person that called me about the cancellation, I was rudely told I was wrong and another client was scheduled instead. After some time, Deanna realized it was her mistake, not mine. No apologies. I did see Dr Terry that day but did not have her full attention.Do not be deceived by the positive reviews. I sent a firm and polite email, describing a recent incident with Dr Terry and stating I was moving on to better care after a year of worsening symptoms. The email was ignored. Instead I received a certified letter, accusing me of being disrespectful, rude, and disrupting the clinic. In fact, I was looking for proper care of my dog.

Dr Terry could not be more compassionate and understanding you feel her love for your pet immediately. We had received a wrong diagnosis from our regular vet that prompted our groomer to suggest Dr Terry at dermatology for pets. I'm so glad we got to her as our dog had a severe case of skin cancer. I could feel her empathy for us and our dog. She continued following up and gave us a great referral to a wonderful oncologist. I highly recommend Dr Terry for her expansive knowledge, kindness and compassion.
