Peterson had his annual exam and vaccines here. Very good experience during the visit. However, it was difficult for me to get this appointment. No one answered the phone call for a few days. (I dialed the phone number listed on Google Map and on their front door.)

Please do not bring your pets here if you care about them. The staff consistently knowing overbooks their appointments. Despite having only 1 vet on staff, they had 4+ people booked for my appointment time as well as walk-ins - they let all the walk-ins come in first, and by the time they let in the first person from my appointment time, it was well past when it ended. I got into the exam room almost 2 hours after my appointment time. Twice. The vet staff lied about the reason behind this, claiming there were emergencies, then changing the story to that there was only 1 vet on staff, then claiming its not their fault, and overall being very rude. The staff also doesn't man the reception desk and avoids interacting with patients. For both instances of waiting nearly 2 hours, there was someone at reception for maybe 5 minutes total, combined. Each time they popped out for only a few seconds and wouldn't talk to the multiple patients trying to get their attention. Worse than this, the vet does not actually examine the animals. The nurse asks questions and takes your pet's temperature, then leaves and gets the vet, who comes in, reads what she wrote, and makes a diagnosis based off of that without any further examination. It takes less than 5 minutes, so why the 2 hour wait...? By the time I got my pet into her appointment, she had a fever, nausea, was shaking, and more stress symptoms from being around barking dogs for 2 hours, and the vet staff joked about how she was probably getting sick from waiting for so long. ... She was there to be treated for a sickness resulting from stress. The appointments were overpriced as well. The 3-minute follow-up was $30. It would have made all of the difference for the vet staff to reach out and let me or the other patients know that there was only one vet on duty, or that the wait would be long, at any point - any offer to reschedule, to leave and come back, an estimate of how much longer we'd have to wait - NONE of this was provided. When I finally caught an assistant's attention to ask how much longer - which they were avoiding being asked questions by any of the waiting patients - they just gave me a vague, "it'll be soon." (It was not.) I actually had to call them while in the exam room because they left me alone in there for 45 minutes. They do not communicate and they do not care. They do not want to help you or your pets. They want to take your money, and that's quite literally it. A huge disappointment, because I initially had one or two good experiences with this vet, but I see now that that was as a new patient, and they wanted to get me in the door.

It's always nice visiting this office. Doctor Bains sincerely cares about the patients and always kindly explains what's happening, what the treatment plan is, etc... Our vet technician (I believe her name was Holly) was super nice and professional. Most importantly, I can tell they genuinely care for animals, which I think is the most important thing a vet office should have...

Used to be good, but not any more. Now you have to wait for days for an appointment and then when you arrive they make you wait again, sometimes for hours past its time. The stuff became rude and unhelpful, they openly stopped caring about pets, only about money.

Came here for our kitties for a URI and was quoted around $100 over the phone but after seeing the doctor and after the doctor telling us that the kitties have a virus that he can do NOTHING about, they wanted to charge us $1,200....kind of ridiculous. The doctor also thought one of my kitties had tapeworm when they just had some litter on their butt (lol, hilarious). One of the staff is really really rude and I really don't understand why. The doctor also seems like he graduated vet school 30 years ago but does not keep up with the new and recent literature regarding pet health...like they refuse to spay/neuter before 6 month old because it's " bad for their development" but separating two very well bonded kittens from the same litter is apparently "OKAY" for their development? Will definitely not come back. I Do not recommend this vet.
