Dr Don Kang mishandled my cat Luca and botched his surgery making the incision way larger than needed to be didn’t inform us of the risks on his chart that his blood was already showing evidence of kidney failure didn’t give us any answers about what the lump or cyst was or if it was even harmful in the first place. All they did was take my money (over $1,000) and kill my cat and leave me with months and months of grief and despair. They (MARINA) removed the stitches too early without checking to see if he was ready… which he was not! Marina is a disgrace to veterinary practices all over the world, and it is a shame that she still has a job there she should’ve been fired immediately after making that huge of a mistake. Don Kang added staples into him, which set him back on his healing journey. And another vet tech admitted this to us when we brought it up she said yes, that very well could’ve led to his death. With the absence of help from this veterinary clinic, all the neglect and malpractice led to the death of my beloved cat. He was only 11 years old and his kidneys were only starting to have troubles. If they had let me know about that before the surgery I would’ve never gone through with it, but because they failed to tell me that he got the surgery and, it progressed his kidney disease into kidney failure and he was gone within weeks because he was so depressed after the surgery he wasn’t eating. These people should not be working with animals. I hope this business goes under so no one else has to go through the trauma that I’ve experienced here. He would still be alive in my arms if it wasn’t for them killing my beautiful cat And they are fully to blame. Medical malpractice, incompetent staff No follow up on what the lump was. It probably wasn’t even tested as to what it was in the first place. He just said it needed to be removed after looking at it for one minute. There’s no thorough evaluation. They lied to me didn’t tell me the whole truth about his condition prior to surgery. I would’ve never went through with the surgery if I knew the risks that went along with it the risk that (I was never informed about) this place is a cash grab. They took advantage of my trust and their titles as veterinarian professionals. They deserve everything bad that’s coming their way.

Best vet I've found yet. I found the staff at college pet to be very easy going, fair, and kind. It is a family practice, and the atmosphere is quiet and mellow. I had both my geriatric dog and cat for an introductory visit, so was prepared for chaos, stress, and a month of ramen dinners, but we all felt just fine, even the cat was chill and curious more than anything, prices were fair, no services were pushed. Dr Kang was very thorough, generous with his time, and helped my itchy pup with yucky ears more than any other vet has EVER, and we've seen many, and spent MUCH with temporary relief at best, sometimes even hurting my pup. Doc can come across a bit brash when he's really just being emphatic. He's trying to be clear because y'all aren't as smart as you think. I think people who have complained about that here are hypersensitive and unfamiliar with cultural differences. Great vet.

Was a very horrible experience. My dog was diagnosed with left heart failure and was treated with meds for several months. As condition progressed, his health deteriorated and was time to let go. The Dr and assistant performed the euthanasia. I tried to explain that my dog had very short breath and very limited capacity so, if he was stressed, he would gasp for air. I asked for oxygen just in case this happened during the sedation period. The Dr did not listen to me and proceeded with the sedation. First, he pulled my ailing dog around very firmly. So that my dog was facing the wall and not me. I wanted to comfort him during the process and was not allowed. The assistant was holding him tight and blocking me from taking a position to comfort my poor dog because he was scared. He injected the sedation quickly then proceeded to inject the euthanasia drug very quickly before the sedation even took effect. My dog was dead before I could even look into his eyes to comfort him. The whole process took less than 5 minutes and it takes at least 15 minutes for the sedation to even take effect. Very Horrible, an terrifying experience that I will remember the rest of my life. The Dr and his assistant were like wild animals going after a fresh kill and my poor little guy had no escape. Very insensitive no compassion and crass. Never again will I go there.

Drs assistant is great. Always makes ur pet feel at ease. Dr. Is also really good. Listens to ur concerns and doesn't overcharged
