We had to bring our cat, Baron, in a few weeks ago when he wasn't acting like himself. It turned out that he needed to have surgery to remove an obstruction. Throughout the entire process, the vets and vet techs were very kind and made sure to explain in detail what options we had and what the pros and cons of each option would be. Despite this being surgery (and at an emergency clinic no less), the cost was very reasonable all things considered and, most importantly, our kitty was perfectly fine. Two weeks later and he's made a full recovery. We're very thankful for what this wonderful team did for us and our sweet boy.

We brought our foster dog, Sarge in on the evening of Friday April 26 due to being ill and our veterinarian not being open Saturday's, or having staff on duty 24 hours. Before we were able to get home to Hot Springs, we were told that Sarge had been diagnosed with pancreatis and was able to go home. As we were almost home, we opted to pick him up the next morning. The charges were over $ 1100, and we had meds for him, with instructions to see our vet within 5 days. Sarge saw our vet on Wednesday, May 1. On Saturday, May 4th Sarge went downhill in the afternoon hours. His gums turned white, and he became lethargic. We immediately returned him to the clinic and arrived around 6 pm, we called ahead to let them know we were on the way. There was different staff from the previous week, so we explained a brief history with the Dr. On duty, she was also very concerned about his pale gums. She took Sarge to the back room, while we waited. Another Dr. returned with a syringe filled with blood and let us know Sarge had a ruptured tumor that was leaking blood into his abdomen. She recommended euthanasia. After contacting the rescue, this is what took place. They were very kind to us. My feeling is Sarge was misdiagnosed the first week, and if he had a tumor, they should have FOUND it. Instead they hurried him out, and charged alot for not much. Sarge should be here, he was supposed to go to his new family on May 17th. They are heartbroken and to say I'm devastated would be an understatement.

I took my cat to this horrible place last night. The first thing I was told was that the visit was going to be at least a thousand dollars to start. I said can you just examine him and see if he needs all this testing first. The “Dr.” told me do you want your cat to live or die. I mean how far do you want me to go to save your cat? I was like well can you just take a look at him and see if all this is necessary. She told me it was all necessary to figure out what was wrong. I would have paid the money if I felt she was competent to even figure out what was going on with him. She did not appear to be concerned with my cat but more concerned with making money. She was very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable so I left. I stated when I left that I now knew where she got her poor reviews from and she said yea whatever. I WILL NEVER GO BACK unless some major changes are made. We took our cat to the vet this morning, and they are still trying to figure out what’s going on with him and gave him a steroid shot and some antibiotics and told us to return tomorrow if he is not improving. The vet said he didn’t want to start charging hundreds of dollars without trying some simple steps first but also being very alert to changes in our cats health. That’s how it should be there too!!!

This place is purely a money grab. They don’t care about your emergency. We arrived and filled out the paperwork and waited for 15 minutes before being escorted to a room, even though we were the only people in the place. Once in the room, a tech came in, asked us more questions, and said she needed to take our dog to get vitals. After that, it took another 15 minutes before the vet came in (without our dog). She let us know that for $1800 she could give us a better idea of what was wrong with our 14 1/2 yo dog. I had already explained that he had all the symptoms of congestive heart failure…wheezing, dry hacking cough, lethargy…which she pretty much ignored and focused on what we were feeding him. When I declined the $1800 worth of testing, most of which had already been done by our local vet a couple of months ago, she left the room and we waited for them to return our dog. After 10 minutes of waiting, I finally went back to the front desk asking for my dog to be returned to me. I was met with a blank look, which caused me to panic, and I opened the “Employee’s Only” door and said “I want my dog back”. The vet immediately came out and scolded me for doing that and had me sign a document stating I was refusing their $1800 worth of testing. This left me feeling like they were holding my dog hostage until I signed that document!! Once I signed, I was given my dog back and the vet told me as she was handing me my dog, btw…your dog’s blood pressure is really high. It’s 190. Have a good night. This place gave me the creeps. Do not take your pet here!!!
