Technology leaves old people in the dust
It all used to be easy, but as the years pass, new words, techniques, and computer functions change. Drag-and-drop was what we did with laundry; we dragged dirty clothes and dropped them into the washing machine. I'm still working on "capture and release," but that's something for police or wildlife, isn't it? After 3 frustrating days, I finally hit "SOMETHING" that made my submission work, and I'm always fascinated by how easy it is when I finally figure it out. The bottom line is, the insurance is beyond great; it's a necessity. I know that in today's world of rising costs of "everything", one more bill is a pain, but what is that animal who looks to you for everything worth? You know, the one who understands love, affection, and comfort but has a problem understanding pain. If you're young you will love it, if you're old,well....you'll figure it out eventually.
Thankful for Pets Best
We've appreciated being customers of Pets Best over the years. Every time I've called, I've been met with someone who was warm, kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. It's rare to consistently receive that level of customer service, and it's something I've always appreciated. Most recently, I called to let them know that our beloved dog, Olive, had passed away. I also wanted to make sure our account was updated and the team was aware of a final claim we would be submitting. The representative I spoke with was incredible. She expressed such genuine compassion during a really difficult conversation and took care of everything I needed, so I didn't have to call back or worry about anything else. That small act of kindness meant more than she probably realizes. It's clear that Pets Best not only cares for pets, but also for the people who love them.

Veterinarian urgent care is very understanding since I have a hyper sensitive German Shepherd. They are very patient and willing to spend the time with your Pet and yourself explaining everything. Please continue to provide excellent service.
Exceptional coverage and customer service
Our 6-month-old puppy became seriously ill and had to be hospitalized with many tests and ultrasounds and spent 4 days in the hospital. PHI Direct customer service showed compassion and reassurance, and they lived up to their word, covering 80% of all costs minus deductible. Then a couple months later our puppy was still showing signs of illness and had to go to see an internal medicine vet for food intolerances, again 80% of the costs were covered and the online claims process was fast and so was the reimbursement. Exceptional insurance coverage and helpfulness.

Poor Minnie
"My sweet dog Minnie (havanese) started with Pet's Best AFTER she was diagnosed with allergies. We knew that the pre-existing condition would not be covered, but we decided we could not afford to pay more huge bills if she was ever sick or injured. Well, three years with no claims was fine, but we questioned if it was worth it. Fast forward to 8/2025… she developed a heart murmur, congestive heart failure, and now her kidneys are struggling due to all of the medicine. Thank God we kept the insurance! One cardiologist visit was $1400, so we met the deductible. Since then, I submit her vet visits, meds, and one ER visit and it has all been covered. It has been a real help. Her heart medicines are very expensive. I submit everything one by one. It takes me a little while, but they send direct deposit reimbursements and I am so grateful. I recommend Pets Best to friends and family all the time. I have it for my 3 yo Italian Greyhound too. I hope he never gets sick or injured, but I am glad to pay for Pets Best, just in case! "

Feels like a scam
Worst pet insurance company to ever use. Feels like a scam. Website portal never worked for me from time of sign up to date. Cannot wait to cancel once open. Claims processing is a joke. Never reached out, never spoke to my vet or myself. Denied even though coverage claims it covers accidents, it was denied. Awful. Feels like a scam company. Do not recommend

Pets Best is BEST
Pets Best insurance makes it easy to file a claim. They process the claim quickly and reimburse you quickly. The only drawback I have is the amount of reimbursement. I think it should be a little better. I have compared other insurance companies though and Pets Best seems to be the best. I have two dogs and showed through Pets Best and I have referred my friends and family to Pets Best and they now have policies with Pets Best.
Cancer in young dog
So thankful to have Pets best insurance. I've never imagined my German Shepherd dog. just a little over 2 years old being diagnosed with lymphoma, cancer. The filing is so easy and the reimbursement comes fast. Thank you so much. 🙏
