10/10   Superior customer service and handling
Firstly, we were very impressed with the structure of the coverage: age divided into 3 groups only, 4 clear plans, 3 deductible coverage choices - this was not complicated like other plans. We insured both our dogs. Second, our 1st claim was handled with compassion, professionalism and efficiency. While investigating our dog's torn cruciate replacement, 3 further major issues surfaced including a left nephrectomy, adrenalectomy and cystotomy, all needing to be done immediately. PetsPlusUs underwriters worked diligently and quickly to advise on exclusions and inclusions so we could move forward fast. Immediately upon receiving pathology results, they mailed reimbursement cheques and Melissa went through the details clearly and concisely by phone with us. For your info: we only paid 35% of all fees. We were not out of pocket for long and came away with a most satisfactory experience. The cruciate ligament surgery is next and they've already committed to full coverage. We recommend this company highly for their empathy, efficiency, competence and reaction time.
