Best company ever
I can't say enough everything about my experience with embrace was wonderful..we emded up having to put our dog to sleep. :( we received emails and a hand written card with many signatures. Prompt responses and claims processed. I have referred numerous people to get insurance thru your company. Thank you for making this very hard time alittle bit easier for us..

Great service - easy and fast!
Filing a claim was very easy and so quick. I have PetPlan health insurance for my other cavalier and they were sooooooooo slow processing the claims; they lost some of my paperwork and never asked me to resubmit, they just didn't continue processing the claim.

The seemingly endless rate hikes and lack of transparency at Healthy Paws are very disappointing.
I have been a Healthy Paws client since 2014 and my rate has gone up every single year. My rate went up 15.5% from last year and has gone up a total of 57% since I first joined. I was notified through a February email from “Jennifer at Healthy Paws Customer Care” about the most recent increase that would occur in April. I reached out to the corporate office where Liz informed me that the increased rate was reflective of the increased veterinary cost and claims in my area. I stated that in my community of pet owners we had not seen anywhere close to a 15% increase in vet costs over the past year and would like to see some documentation to reflect their claim. Liz stated that would not be a problem and that I would receive documentation the following week. No one ever got back to me so I followed up through the inquiry form on the Healthy Paws website. My continued follow-ups have yielded emails from Beth at Healthy Paws Client Services apologizing for delays in providing my documentation request and stating that she will reach out to the team/manager handling the request. My rate has now officially gone up and still no documentation or other satisfactory response has been provided other than to reiterate that the rate hike is due to an overall increase in the frequency of high-value treatments (again, without documentation).
My dog just had his annual at the vet where costs hadn’t increased at all from last year let alone by over 15%. Meanwhile my neighbor’s pet insurance rate from a different provider, which began at a similar cost to my own, has not gone up at all in the last 5 years, let alone by over 50%. The lack of transparency and seemingly endless rate hikes at Healthy Paws is very disappointing.
