Submitting claims and getting results have gotten progressively easier
I've had health/medical insurance for my Blossom, a 150# South African Boerboel, since I got her at 6 weeks of age. At that time the company was not owned by Nationwide. I got prompt, courteous service then. After the corporate change, I was concerned that the level of service would decline. Not so! I still get prompt,
courteous service, with the covered - and non-covered - expenses clearly explained and, after the deductible, the covered expenses paid. I've done a rough estimate of expenses to reimbursements and it is 82% over a 2.5 year period, 4/15 - 9/17. Did not do the first 3 years because I no longer have the documents and the last 2 I haven't bothered with - will update at some point. However, during that 2.5 year period, I would have been out almost $13K out of pocket without insurance coverage, primarily for 2 TPLO surgeries. So I'm a very big fan of medical insurance for my girl and both companies have done well by me.

Nationwide is the best
Nationwide has been great in helping through a very difficult time with our dog. Without their assistance, we would not be able to do all of the testing to help figure out what is going on with our dog. Their customer service is also great.

So responsive and caring
Nationwide is the insurer to have if you have a sick pet or one the is perpetually injured. Claims are easy to submit and reimbursement is returned quickly. Their hotline has also been invaluable and were the ones to alert us that our pup’s cough should get checked out. Highly recommend!

Fast claim processing
I bought flea and tick meds for my dog on a Saturday. Faxed the claim to Nationwide on Monday. By Wednesday, the repayment was in my account.

Fantastic
Great pet insurance. Claims are submitted from our vet and the turn around time receiving our check is so fast. Best thing we ever did for Kona.
