I appreciate how my policy covers wellness and accident/illness.
I like the option of having wellness as well as accident and illness as a coverage option. I recommend Nationwide for this very reason.

Quick Claim Turn Around
Unfortunately we've been to the vet a handful of times for our little dog lately. She was perfectly well at her wellness exam and 2 days later was back in for an awful cough. We are pretty sure she picked it up at the vet. They're trying different things, but so far no improvement. Nationwide has been so quick to respond to claims. Within a few days we have our return which makes it so easy when vet Bill's start to pile up. I'm so thankful we have coverage for our little JoJo. Just goes to show, something as small as a little cough can be very costly. Hope we never have anything serious.

Long processing times
The only thing that caused it to not be a "5" was just how long it took to reach any kind of decision and process. It seemed to take an unreasonable amount of time, and although an email was sent apologizing for the delay, it still took a good amount of time after that email for it to finalize. This was a basic accident claim.

Excellent!
I cannot say enough good things about Embrace! Everyone we have talked to has been super nice and very helpful. The claim process is super easy & using the app makes it even easier to submit & track the status of a claim. I'm blown away by their quick turnaround time. Within a week we have our claim received, processed, and reimbursed. Highly recommend - especially if you have a puppy like mine that sticks anything and everything in his mouth.

Excellent Customer Service
The Figo customer support team is the reason I chose to renew at my one-year mark. The first year went smoothly. Claims are processed online quickly (they have a very nice app as well) & turnaround time is super quick usually only about a couple days! The first claim might take longer because they have to contact your vet for your pet's medical history. At the one-year renewal time, this particular support rep Kelly was so responsive to my every need & answered so many questions for me via email. I was looking at other companies as potential options to switch since the premium increase was so drastic for my state, and Kelly's excellent customer service was the reason why I chose to renew with Figo insurance. Please do everything in your power to keep this person on your team (& give her a raise if possible)! Thank you so much for everything! (also) ~Kelly

Great Plans, Great Pricing, Amazingly Easy Claims
I do not leave reviews as often as I should, but Nationwide Pet Insurance is definitely worthy of a review. Their pricing is best, their plans cover the most, the deductible is competitive, and their service is top-notch. I have the My Pet Protection with Wellness plan, which has been honestly perfect for my needs, definitely worth recommending for purebred dog owners.
Additionally, I am not a fan of using apps for processing anything financial or forms, but the VitusVet app for submitting claims is beyond user friendly, I submit claims right from my phone in about 2 mins or less. I have claims reimbursements sent as a direct deposit and usually have my reimbursements within a week or two, sometimes within days.. I have zero complaints!

Great
Nationwide has been a blessing for me lately. My girl has had several issues in the past several months. After seeing 4 different vets and two surgeries, she is feeling better and on the road to recovery. If Nationwide was not fast with process of claims I am not sure if My dog would have made it. Their quick processing of claims help me pay for the next visit to her doctor and saved me very much money. Thank you Nationwide
