Major injury to puppy
Trupanion is the best. I have the 0 deductible plan with 90% reimbursement for my special little maltese Raine and they are prompt, helpful and Steve Zimmerman and employees are the best. I told my vet at Dekalb Animal Hospital all about them, and he is a signed up vet, these people are the best

Service is not hat it used to be
Claim emailed on 2/2 but not acknowledged until 2/11. Then had to wait 3 more weeks to get reimbursed. I received no email notice of benefits paid until I called and asked. You would not have gotten a 3 but the person who actually provided answers was very nice.

So glad I have Healthy Paws!
Service was fantastic. They paid my claim promptly with no issues. It was even down to the penny of what I expected. They let you know up front what is covered and what isn't, and stick to it! Don't know what I would have done without Healthy Paws!

Easy communication and quick reimbursement
Our dog had undergone a series of diagnostic tests and subsequent treatment for heartworms. (Even in spite of staying on top of regular meds, dogs are still very much at risk for them!) Healthy Paws has been very easy to communicate with via e-mail and the reimbursement process was quick and fair. I'm very glad we have a policy with them. I'm a first-time pet insurance policyholder and I'm glad I made that decision. I received reimbursements within two weeks of first faxing the claims to them.

Wonderful!
Romulus got into a bag of trash left outside while I let him our for his morning potty break. Unbeknownst to me, he ingested a bit of moldy cheese. Four hours later, he was convulsing. I went to my regular vet first, then he was transferred to the vet school when they could not figure out how to make his convulsions stop (they tried various anti-convulsants to no avail). They finally discovered the problem, treated his accordingly with fluids, hospitalization in ICU and very expensive meds). Of course, the only thing I was concerned about was his health at the time, but after he can home and recovered, I began to worry if Embrace would cover everything as well as they claimed they would. They did! After I submitted a claim and his records, they reimbursed me the amount agreed upon in my policy very quickly, with no questions asked. Love this company!

A true "heart" felt story!
During a yearly check up, my gorgeous red dobie, Marley, was found to have a heart issue, an extra beat to be precise. I know that Dobie's have a history of cardiomyopathy, so I was scared. My vet had me take Marley to a well known dog cardiologist in GA, of which I had NO idea they even existed. Marley had an echo and an ekg and while he does have an extra beat, his heart is completely normal. The bill was very high, but with the help of ASPCA's Insurance it was managable and without it I would not have been able to do it. I thank ASPCA from the bottem of my, and Marley's heart for providing me some help when it was needed.

Great coverage
Have had Embrace since 2006 & have never needed it until this past Aug when my 10.5 BC Keegan suddenly came up lame on his back right. Took him in & they thought psoas strain, followed their instructions & was better. Vet ok'd him for more activity & immed came up lame. To confirm it was a psoas injury went to one of the few vets in the country that diagnose it by ultrasound. Diagnosis severe moderate tears at insertion & orgin.Approved & paid that & the follow up ultrasounds every 4 weeks plus all my rehab visits with my local rehab vet, the exam fees, chiro, acupunture, treadmill sessions, etc. from Sept-Jan.
Unfortunately during this we found a mass during the Jan ultrasound on that same back right near his femoral artery & it's B-cell lymphoma. Fortunatley, Embrace has been wonderful, they paying 80% of the $1700+ from all the ultrasounds, xrays, bloodwork & other tests. Starting chemo on Tues & am confident Embrace will be there to help with that too. Devastating news but so happy that thanks to Embrace I can afford to give him the best possible care. Cancer diagnosis & treatment is not cheap.

3+ years of amazing service!!!
We have now had our dog insured with Embrace for over 3 years and we have been totally pleased. They covered him when he had to have emergency surgery for eating pantyhose (bad puppy!) not long after we first signed up with them and their coverage paid for his premiums for a long time! They are quick to respond, fast to process claims, SUPER nice, thorough, and do what they say they'll do. They cover what they agree to and break down your claim response in detail. You can't beat that. I know it's been said before but if only human health insurance was this good, we'd live in a better world!!!

Awesome service and timely reimbursements
We started Healthy paws when our Entlebucher swiss mountain dog was 2 years old. My husband thought it was a waste of money and they would never actually pay us. He was so wrong! Bear had a few minor scrapes and bruises during that first year and I faithfully submitted the claims even though it was below my deductible, and when I called with questions they quickly answered them. Submitting the claim was super simple, just fax the form and the receipt. Each time the claim was processed promptly and our deductible reduced. Then in the last month of his first year, Bear tore his rear ACL ligament and had to have surgery. Again my husband said they would not pay or there would be limits, or the wouldn't cover the specialist we used. But I submitted the claim, and they covered the full 80% and saved us thousands. It only took a week to get the check! I think the dog has better insurance than I do for myself. Now my husband is a believer and we are both so thankful we got this wonderful pet insurance. We no longer have to worry about being able to afford the proper health care for our dog. Thanks so much to the great people at Healthy Paws.
