I waS SO VERY PLEASED WITH tRUPANIONS actions. They were polite and interested in the well being of my boxer Molly.

My first filing with the company and I was concerned of some "surprise, we don't cover that" even though I triple checked all my fine print and called them before the procedure. Within around a week's time, they replied via email that they were processing my 6 claims. Each email stated everything in plain simple english and then a few days later, the checks were in the mail. It was that simple. Then as if that wasn't good enough. They called and emailed to see how my pet was doing after the major surgery.

Horrible. 0 if possible.We have had Trupanion insurance for over 3 years now and Trupanion has not paid a single claim. Each claim submitted has taken over a month to finalize and each time they come back and deny the claim. If a vet wrote down that your dog fell down, Trupanion equates that to your dog having a history of seizures. They find something in your pets medical history that they can stretch into being something else to deny your claim. This has happened 3-4 times to us in 3 years. When we originally signed up, we had a ~$20 premium with zero deductible. 3 years later with zero claims paid to us, our premium is nearly $45 with a $250 deductible. I cannot stress enough what an absolute scam this company is. Horrible product, horrible service. Steer clear.

My dog got diagnosed with terminal cancer at only 5 years of age totally catching us by surprise. It was an awful diagnosis but having pet insurance allowed us to afford to try an experimental Chemo treatment at the university pet hospital. The treatments restored his heath for about 3 months which gave my family valuable time to mentally prepare. Embrace was great throughout the process. They paid all claims as per the policy, I just wish my own health insurance was equally good. Also, you can really tell in all their correspondence that they are pet people.

There are a lot of pet insurance companies out there and I really went through them. Embrace worked exactly as advertised, paid the full vet bill minus my deductible, and no schedule payments, paid exactly the amount the vet charged. When I called to set up the direct payment in my account everyone was kind and were obviously pet people and you can really tell the difference. I would recommend Embrace to anyone and everyone.

After days of researching Pet Care Insurance, we concluded that Embrace was exactly what we needed. Now more than 2 years later we are so very glad we chose Embrace. With 4 dogs, 2 of them being Saint Bernards which we brought into our family at 10 weeks, we did not anticipate any health issues. Embrace has been there for us at every event and has not once questioned our need to seek medical care for our family of furry friends. Both of the Saints have had to have eye surgery and elbow surgery on both elbows. Our Mini Schnauzer has developed extremely hard to control diabetes and is scheduled to have cataracts removed from both eyes.The research my wife did led us to understand that Embrace was unlike other Pet Care Insurance companies. Embrace actually pays according to the charges and not according to a schedule that has been predefined. As most of us know, an ear infection or allergy for a Saint Bernard is somewhat more costly to treat than the same for a Dachshund. The cost of caring for each breed is somewhat different and therefore does not fit into a one size fits all schedule. Additionally, the staff at Embrace is very helpful and always courteous. Ever ready to answer questions and walk a client through all situations. We recommend Embrace without reservation to everyone looking for pet insurance. For us it will always be our choice.

Great options, terrific follow through, and incredible communication from the staff. The investment is paying off not only financially, but emotionally. I know we are in great hands.

I have had three of my four dogs covered for a good many years with Embrace Pet Insurance, and thankfully, no claims. The fourth dog--a little mixed breed-Chi-Weenie-I had carried the insurance for the first three months after we had adopted her that was provided as part of her adoption package, but then because it was a different insurance company and IA was in the middle of a year with Embrace's coverage of my other dogs, I couldn't make up my mind what to do, and so did nothing for a long while--seve4ral years. There's always been a question in my mind, and many "money experts" question whether the costs to carry insurance on animals is worth the continued yearly outlay, if you don't have claims. This past April, right before my husband and I were going to go on a vacation, I thought, since we're boarding all four of our dogs again, and though I trust the facility...what if something happened while we were out of state, and the boarding facility folks had to make the initial decisions about treatment for us. So, I added Rita in April to our insurance coverage with Embrace. Nothing happened during the week's boarding period. Just a few weeks ago, in June, I noticed that Rita just didn't seem "right." She just looked off, wasn't eating as heartily as she normally did, spent a lot of time by herself sleeping. I had an emergency at 5am in the morning.I filed a claim about 6 hours later.I got a reply that the claim had been approved and the check was mailed that day with a full explanation of the benefits.I called to follow up and the staff at Healthy Paws answered promptly.The staff even inquired later and asked me how my dog was doing.Im am so impressed with them that I tell everyone I know to use Healthy Paws.
