When our 2-year-old collie mix Niles got sick, the last thing we wanted to think about was finances. We were lucky to get good news the next morning, and within a couple days Niles had made a full recovery. Healthy Paws covered more than 90% of our bills! I signed up with Embrace 4 months ago after reading the positive reviews. My 11 month old Presa Canario pup was just diagnosed with hip dysplasia and needed TPO surgery which we elected to do right away on the vets advice. Embrace approved our claim which was in excess of $3,000 and were very helpful through the whole process. Thank you Embrace!

My dog went to the vet almost 2 years ago with lameness in one leg - nothing on xrays. Was given medication and better in a day (not even the primary reason for the vet visit). He recently had surgery for an ACL and MCL tear. They declined payment stating what he had was pre-existing and tied to the visit 2 yrs ago. No incidents in between. Tell me how a dog that weighs over a 100 lbs could of gone so long in between the with even a slight tear - very active and rough. They told me I would need to figure out a way to prove the two incidents were not related...I asked how did they prove they were. One sentence on my dogs medical notes cost me $4200.

My 1 1/2 year old Ragdoll suddenly began to have a terrible hacking cough. Diagnosis and treatment involved X-Rays and then Sedation X-rays, two medications and a cost of over $500. Having had a bad experience a number of years back with a very well known pet insurer, where none of my dogs illnesses seemed to be in a covered "category", I chose Healthy Paws because their plans seemed upfront and easy to understand. They did not disappoint. Promptly received reimbursement on my claims, minus the office visit and deductible, exactly as their plan was described. Had a question for customer service and they could not have been nicer. Healthy Paws is giving a wonderful gift to pet parents, peace of mind!

I have had aspca insurance for both my dogs for the past 6 years and I have never had a problem. They process your claims fast and there is usually on a two week turnaround when they issue a check. Love it

I had just purchased peta best insurance and two weeks later my 5 year old dog got a laceration while at doggie day care. I had absolutely no issues with filing the claim, in fact it was super easy. Within about seven days I had the money in my bank! When I called to check on the claim they asked how Aries (my dog) was doing. Every time I have spoken with them they have been completely professional, caring and polite. I am sure if someone has had a negative experience it is because they did not do something proper or they are trying to get something paid for that is obviously not covered. Anyways, just wanted to say how greatful I to have my pups covered. I know that their health will be well taken care of! Thanks!
