Insurance that works like it should!
We were very happy with the service we have received from Healthy Paws. Our yellow lab Jake started to favor his back leg, and we were upset to find out it was a torn ligament. Of course we would do anything we could for him, but the surgery was going to be expensive ($3,200). We had no problems at all getting a check for the amount agreed upon in our policy. Just some paperwork from Jake's vets and in a few days the check came. At least that part was worry free. Jake still has some healing to do, but we think he will be fine.

Such quick response to claim!
My Labrador Retriever has had lameness in her right hind leg for a few months. We've taken her to the vet, but can't find what's wrong. We took her to the University Animal Hospital to see a canine orthopedic specialist. Embrace had the claim resolved and reimbursement issued within a week! It was literally 5 days and I had the EOB and reimbursement issued.
Not only are they quick and efficient, but they have been courteous, prompt, and responsive to every single one of my inquiries. Not only an outstanding pet insurance company, but an outstanding company in general. I wish everyone I dealt with treated me like Embrace.

An absolute part of responsible pet ownership
How many of us are prepared for the unexpected? Yet with the best of intentions (hopefully) we enter into pet ownership. Our experience with our dogs has proven that pet insurance is an absolute necessity. We have a 13 year old Boston Terrier (which was not insured, I must add) that was diagnosed with Addison's Disease 7 years ago and her yearly health care costs in excess of $1700 on top of basic vaccinations and well checks. You'd think we would have learned, but upon getting our labrador retriever, we intended to get insurance but unfortunately our puppy ate a ski hat and had to have emergency surgery to remove the yarn wrapped around his intestines to the tune of $3500. Needless to say, I researched pet insurance options ASAP and Healthy Paws offered the best coverage. Our new puppy was covered at 10 weeks and just recently ingested a rock and was hospitalized for 4 days and Healthy Paws addressed our claim within 48 hours of submission, covering 80% of the costly hospitalization and IV medication. If you don't have pet insurance, contact Healthy Paws today! You and your pet deserve the peace of mind. Well worth it!!!!

Great Service!
I adopted a 5 yr old rescue miniature poodle mix who was very thin. I had already lost a dog to cancer and one to kidney failure so know what a financial burden that can be. I didn't want $ to be the deciding factor on the type of care I was able to provide him. Having no medical background info on him, I decided to research pet insurance.
I spent a lot of time looking into the various companies. I chose Trupanion and have been very happy with the Policy benefits.
As it turned out, Buddy had stomach problems that started a few months after the adoption and the bills began. Special food, tests, daily meds all trying to control his symptoms. Finally was referred to a gastric specialist (cha-ching!). At this point I was facing an endoscopy and an ultrasound. I figured I better look into that policy I bought!
I submitted all the bills I had to that point and spoke with them regarding how much they would pay towards these procedures. Since bills were for the same chronic problem, they applied them to my deductible (per diagnosis). Once that was satisfied, I received payments for 50% of the special vet-Rx canned food & 90% for prescriptions and procedures & will FOR HIS ENTIRE LIFE! Hopefully we will find a cure, but if he requires lifetime meds for this same condition, Trupanion will continue to help pay for them.
I fax in my claims, and Trupanion processes them and I have a check usually within a week.
Knowing that I could give him the best possib

Amazing and Fast
I decided to get pet insurance for our new puppy Charlie who was about 8 months at the time (13 months now) and we found out very quickly that we was very active so we decided to be safe in case he hurt himself in the future. I looked around on the Internet and reviewed several insurance companies and decided on Healthy Paws because they covered major injuries and they were affordable.
Well wouldn't you know a couple months after getting insurance, Charlie hurt his leg. We took him to the doctor who diagnosed him with medial patella luxation and in order to correct the problem, Charlie would need surgery. We submitted our first claim for the consultation which includes x-rays and anesthesia (~$300). Since this was our first claim I submitted all of Charlie's records with our invoice. A rep from Healthy Paws called within a couple of hours to go over all the paperwork and then they filed the claim with an adjuster. Within 7 business days the claim was processed and since we had a $250 deductible our deductible cover the expenses covered by Healthy Paws. About a week later Charlie had his surgery. After the surgery I submitted the claim for this invoice (~$1,200) and I was very amazed by how fast the claim was processed. In less than 24 hours after submitting the claim, I received an email stating that the claim was processed and completed and a check would be mailed to me within a couple days. I received the check yesterday.
To step things up even more, a Healthy Paws r

Awesome Service and Quick Reimbursement
We are very impressed with Embrace. We've used other companies in the past and there was always a catch regarding coverage and a hassle whenever we submitted claims. Embrace plans cover everything they spell out in the policy and they make the process very simple and quick. Anytime we call or email, we get excellent and timely responses. We recommend Embrace to any pet owner.

The BEST Pet Insurance Period!
After 3 months of intensive research, I selected Healthy Paws insurance and purchased their BEST plan for my Savanna Pup. Just this year we have had 4 claims, the latest being this week with a Bladder stone the size of a QUARTER being surgically removed from my 40 pound sweet Girl. This was a Life SAVING procedure! A few years ago, my Dog Jasper needed surgery that would have cost in the thousands and at that time...I could not afford this. I lost Jasper within a week! When I found out Savanna needed this immediate surgery, I did not even have to ask the cost! All because I have Healthy Paws Insurance, I cannot believe I have not had their insurance for many years! Their claim review and turn-around time is OUTSTANDING! For me, less than 4 days on each occurrence! The Staff is so caring and excellent, they even emailed me prayers and best-wishes pre-surgery! PLEASE...if you love your Pet and wish for them to be healthy and happy and with you for years...choose Healthy Paws. I only have one request, I wish Healthy Paws would take over our National Health Care...you could call it "Healthy-People". Thank you Healthy Paws!
