Very satisfied

Have had this insurance since 2012. That year one of my cats needed emergency care and a two day hospital stay. The claims were paid promptly as they should have. This year my other cat has a difficult to cure respiratory issue and an eye issue. Those claims have been handled properly thus far as well.

I'm so glad I have this insurance.

The claims are easy to submit on line. Every time a submit a claim, the reimbursement is in my bank account within days.

Excellent Service!

I have never had a problem getting paid with this company. The claim process is easy and I usually have my check within a week of filing the claim. Best investment I've made in a long time!

No better pet insurance out there.

When I adopted my cat, she started ingesting foreign objects and getting sick a lot. I had 300$ vet visits each time I went for X-rays, shots and evaluation with the Dr. Finally, after the 4th time I'd had a enough and knew I needed some pet insurance. I found VPI through my vet office. Best decision I ever made. I have the Major Medical plan and each time I need to take my cat in, I just pay for the services up front and then a few weeks later I get a reimbursement check for what is covered. which is almost everything that was provided by the vet. Each year my costs are covered and claims are easy to send in and I have NO issues with the company denying claims or giving me issues of what services were provided. I will NEVER go with anyone else for my pet insurance because these are the best people around that take care of your wallet and your pet.

dependable

My dog had to have a lens replacement for cataracts. Pets best reimbursed us everything my plan said it covered. We have been paying it since my dog was a puppy and I like that we pay it quarterly and then when something like this occurs that is expensive we know that we are covered.

Not what I expected...

Unfortunately my experience Embrace was not the best. I had two claims denaid and I was not satisfied with the customer service I was provided on several calls. I have a cat who I take regularly to the doctor for the same reason, and for that matter they denied my claims, after they explained to me that my cat could have developed a chronic condition, and that they will not cover that, I decided to cancel my policy.

Outstanding Company and Coverage!

I got coverage for my puppy when I got him. Better safe than sorry I thought. I read a lot of reviews like you are probably doing now. Although all the reviews I read for Healthy Paws were good I had no idea what a truly outstanding company it was! My first claim took a couple of days to process because they had to send his chart from the vet's office. My second claim (submitted via their excellent app) was processed in under 3 hours! Then unfortunately we had to make a trip to the emergency hospital on a Saturday night. It was very stressful but far less so knowing that I had this amazing coverage and that all I had to worry about was doing what was best for my little guy! I submitted the claim late Saturday night and it was processed and approved Sunday! The bill for the follow up treatment and tests at his regular vet was approved in less than three hours from the time it was submitted! They even sent an email checking on him! But hold onto your hats! I had to go back to the vet because he got kennel cough at the emergency hospital. I got the email the claim was being processed and ONE minute later got the email saying his claim was complete! ONE minute! I could not be happier with the company and just signed my golden doodle up as well! If I could give them a million stars I would!

I love Pets Best Insurance

I'm so happy with this insurance. It's so easy to file a claim and the reimbursement is automatically credited to my bank account within days. I usually end up getting more back than I expected.

No fuss, sleep-well-at-night coverage!

I bought pet insurance because I don't ever want to have to put a dog down because I can't afford treatment. I chose Embrace because they had great ratings and offered the lowest rates for what I wanted, what I call "catastrophic coverage" (I chose a very high deductible). Well, my dog got bone cancer, and it was so nice being able to tell her specialists to do whatever needed doing because I had pet insurance. Embrace has paid my claims in a timely and always friendly fashion. The only downside was the time it took to do the medical history review, but that may have been a delay from her previous vet clinics.

They Did the Right Thing

Bohdi broke two teeth in September and the extraction and medical procedure was more then $500. When our vet did the procedure they also cleaned his teeth. The initial response from Embrace basically said they could not cover the cleaning and anesthesia because it was not part of and "accident". I spoke with them and they asked for a letter of support from our vet. They wrote explaining that the cleaning was an important part of the procedure for the broken teeth. Embrace reconsidered and payed a significant portion of the bill. I understand their original position and think it was really very good of them to reconsider based on more information.
