Smooth sailing!

I signed up for insurance for my 8 year old cat (very affordable!) Lola, in case anything were to happen to her. Wouldn't you know it, she got sick about a month later. I've had to take her to 2 vet appointments and one specialist in the last few months. Pets Best has a great customer service chat- they're very helpful and answered all my questions. The process of fulfilling Lola's deductible, submitting claims and getting feedback has all been very smooth. As soon as her deductible was met, Pet's Best sent me an e-mail (within a few business days) with an itemized list of reimbursement letting me know what was covered and what wasn't. I haven't signed up for direct deposit yet, but I should be getting the first check in 5-7 business days (her vet appointment was 4 business days ago). I would definitely recommend Pet's Best to anyone looking for insurance for their fur kid. Highly worth it.

Pets Best rocks!!

Thankfully, I have only had to use my Pets Best Insurance policy on two occasions. However, both experiences have been an excellent experience. Claims are handled quickly and there have never been any surprises of things not being covered. I highly recommend!

So far so good!

Roscoe is possibly heading for surgery. One we could not afford until now, because we now have pet insurance. We are depending on ASPCA to cover most of the cost. We wondered if we could keep the insurance as our monthly fee is much higher now. We decided to hang on, and thanking we will reap the benifit with this surgery the cost of removing both eye's cateract.

Best Decision We Made At The Perfect Time!

After an expensive experience with our oldest dog, causing us to make some tough decisions about "how much is too much," we decided we needed to prevent it from happening again and invested in pet insurance for our other two dogs. It couldn't have been more perfect timing as we ran into some severe medical issues with one of our dogs just a few months later. I can't stress enough the importance of getting insurance BEFORE anything starts to happen. The Embrace staff has been extremely helpful and we always get the reassurance that they really do care. Not all pet insurance is the same and I have to believe Embrace is top in class!

Pleasantly Surprised

I was initially reluctant to get pet insurance being that my dog is 7 y/o. After having the insurance for a little over 3 months we had to submit a claim for gastrointestinal issues. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. Once they had all the information from my vet the claim came through($526) within a few days. Thus far, I would highly recommend this pet insurance.

I've had nothing but good with this company

When our Rocky had a cancerous tumor around his behind and they removed it, it was quite costly, but we got a nice refund from VPI.

Really wonderful pet insurance

I had a different pet insurance last year for my new puppy. She went through the normal puppy wellness visits for shots, etc. - none of which were covered by insurance. This year I switched to Embraced, and what a difference I have a second new puppy and all vet visits have been covered for her shots as well as for a tummy upset. My now 1-year old's visits have also been covered under wellness visits. I've just signed my 15-year old shih-Tzu up for limited coverage. I'm not quite sure how that will work, but I'm willing to trust a company who remembers who I am and who my pets are.

Best pet related decision I've ever made

Recently we had one of our fears come to light. Our Bichon/Shi Tzu mix [Victor] woke up one morning not able to use his back legs. We made an emergency run to a surgeon and discovered he had a bulging disc pushing against his spinal cord and needed immediate surgery. We decided to proceed with the procedure since we had insurance and he is far too young to put down. Once we knew Victor was going to be OK, my worry turned to the insurance claim and how hard it was going to be to get reimbursement. I submitted the claim 3-4 days after the surgery, online, a very easy process. I had all my documentation and had to get my full vet records sent over. Then I waited for what I thought was going to be a battle with a large agency to get recovery. Then to my surprise, there was no battle, no questions, no refutes. Healthy Paws acknowledged the difficult time we were having with Victor, and processed our claim. Healthy Paws paid the full amount according to my policy and had the check in my hands before Victors recovery period (4 wks) was done. Now Victor can walk, run, & play like before, and we can rest assured that we have a great insurance firm that will stand by their claims should something terrible ever happen in the future
