After owning 8 dogs without having pet insurance

we decided to get a wellness and critical care policy on our puppy Mahlee. We have not been insured long but submitted two claims for wellness puppy care, response from the Pumpkin Team was amazing! I had some issues submitting the claims, a Pumpkin Team member jumped in on chat and took care of everything. Payment arrived that day in the form of an email. I would recommend Pumpkin Pet Insurance to everyone!!!!!

Very impressed with our dog Boomer's Pumpkin plan.

Everything has been so smooth and informative from the start. Just filed our first claim last week for his annual wellness check-up and Pumpkin reimbursed the entire cost within 2-days. I have already recommended Pumpkin to several friends.

Quick, convenient and professional!

All I did was submit the vet bill and Pumpkin figured out everything and sent the check in an e-Mail.

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
