LONG Approval Time

Overall I am satisfied with my claims being approved, I’ve submitted two claims and had no issues. However, both times it has taken over a month for the claims to be reviewed. It’s so disappointing, there’s no reason for it to take this long. So many reviews say the same thing. Hire more people!!! I’ve seen/heard that other pet insurance companies take around a week. Waiting over a month is insane in my opinion. I am contemplating switching.

No Vets at WhisperDocs!

I called WhisperDocs, the after hours veterinary help line for Pet's Best, for my 4 y/o Cocker Spaniel and asked to speak with a veterinarian. I was told that I was speaking to a veterinary "nurse" and that NO VETERINARIAN TALKS TO CUSTOMERS ON THE 1-800 PHONE LINE!!! This vet "nurse" was unable to help me with my dog's issue but would not let me speak to a vet. They are in the building but will not come to the phone. PET'S BEST PET INSURANCE states on their website that they provide access to this helpline when you enroll your pet in their insurance and they further state that "A VETERINARIAN IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO SPEAK WITH YOU." I called to express my concern to customer service & was told she would forward my concern to management. A couple weeks later, I received a voicemail from customer service stating that my issue was sent to upper management and because it is an upper management issue I will not be receiving a call back or any response. I should just know that my concern was relayed to the appropriate people. How can this pet insurer promise a benefit and then not make it available to paying pet insurance customers??? Isn't this fraudulent advertising??? Please help me get the message out. An "A" or "A+" rated business should not be promising benefits which they know they are not providing. Not sure of exact date of experience with WhisperDocs, but it was within the past two months. Gayle G. APRN, MSN, MBA Addendum: After reading the reply from Pet's Best Pet Insurance, it is clear that they do not make a veterinarian available to you as a customer as they state they do on their website. If they did make a veterinarian available, you can bet they certainly would have said so given the opportunity. Beware!!!

Good customer service

They are very good at communicating when there is a delay and when the refund is processed. The app is very user friendly.
