How to Save Money at All Creatures Animal Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

You are missing out if you dont use this practice. I am a first time dog mom and have yet to be disappointed in the level of care, concern and patience found at All Creatures. They have taken our puppy Enzo twice as a last minute ER without question- in fact they stayed later on a Saturday for us. We have interacted with all three doctors (Natalee, Jessica, Tammie) all whom are excellent. Their technicians and receptionists also exude the same amount of love towards our dog as if he were their own pet. Our dog was just neutered today so I was anxious. That is, until I spoke with the surgery tech Jessica who made it all so easy. The doctor, Mary, also called to update us on our puppy’s surgery- so sweet of her. Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Each and every one of you is pure quality.

Hi! I own Delilah’s 2nd chance rescue so I have worked with just about every vets office in the treasure coast. Dr Jessica and her team have by far shown the most compassion and level of care. I am so honored to have them as our vets of choice to take care of our animals. Thank you!

Our fur baby was very sick and it was time for her to rest. We took her to all creatures and Dr. Murati was the one that performed the procedure. Seeing your fur baby go is one of the toughest things ever, but having a caring and gentle doctor handle it made me feel like she had the best until the end. Thank you Dr. Murati for your compassion and kindness. Thank you to your staff for the warm condolences and comfort. I wish you were closer, I would bring all my fur babies to you. Thank you again *This is an add on comment. I went to pick up my girls paw print. When I went to look in the envelope, they not only made 2 prints with ink but they made us a wood one. Oh, it's beautiful and it made me cry. Meant so much, thank you!*

I can’t say enough about this practice, Dr Mary and vet tech Mary! They clearly care about the animals they treat, are thorough and really take the time to listen and explain things. I have 2 cats and recently transferred them from another vet mid-issue with one of my kitties. The other vet diagnosed her as “pre-diabetes/diabetic” (this was the diagnosis given by the other vet on a voicemail and not even sure what that meant and if my cat was diabetic or pre-diabetic). All lab work was done at the first vet and when I was called with results was told to switch her to a diabetic diet and noted I should considered a liver supplement as her liver numbers were “slightly” high. When given the unclear diagnosis (among some other issues there) I decided to switch to All Creatures. Dr. Mary examined my girl and read her test results. She was much more concerned about her high liver levels and said her glucose numbers (in pre-diabetic range) could be caused by stress and that she was not ready to call her diabetic yet. Instead, we did an ultrasound and come to find out my poor girl had a very inflamed pancreas. Meds were given and she was put on science diet I/d. I am happy to report she is doing great now! The new food also solved the problem of constant hairball vomiting with my cats (both are on the diet now and we have no vomit since the switch!). This is a concern I have brought to vets since I had them with no real remedy. Dr. Mary is kind, genuine, friendly and made me feel like my girl was finally in competent hands! Vet tech Mary was really great also! She was so knowledgeable, explained things to me, made sure I understood all the medication directions and had great customer service. Highly recommend this practice! My poor girl would have continued to be in pain and untreated with her prior vet’s practice. I understand pancreatitis is not an easy thing to diagnosis but to have 2 vets look at lab results and one not to have concerns about certain numbers that should have warranted further investigation is concerning. Come to All Creatures if you want your pets to get the best care!
