This is the best vet I have ever had for all of our cats and sugar gliders. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The vet calls and gives updates and is understanding and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I hesitated to write this review as I'd like to keep Dr. Lanier to ourselves and friends. We have been using GGAC for the past 15+ years, specifically because of Dr. Lanier's competence, compassion, and fair prices. Although I know we all go through difficult things with our pets sometimes, I'm shocked at some of the poor reviews as we have never had a bad experience here. The prices are some of the best we have found, and Dr. Lanier understands that we have to make our own choices about our furry family members. I have never felt like it was about the money for Dr. Lanier and it's almost funny that people would think that. If it was about the money, they'd be driving luxury cars and the location would be moved to somewhere a little more conventional for the upperly mobile. As long as Dr. Lanier is practicing, he will be our vet.

Just switched my golden retriever to this vet. Very helpful staff and doctor. I’m happy to have found a vet I finally like that is closer to my home.

We've had Dr. Lanier since my oldest, Rosie, was a puppy (she's 12 now!) Golden Gate Animal Clinic has always been fairly priced, with a well-educated, responsible, and compassionate staff. Dr. Lanier himself understands when his clients are financially constrained and does not shame anybody, but also keeps the health of the animal first and foremost and is willing to work with the pet parents on a plan that keeps their fur kids in good health without going thousands into debt. We love GGAC :)
