Our Charlie was sick for 10 days or so, after he seemed to be on his way to recovery and over $650.00 (and we are retired on fixed income!)...I faxed my claim to ASPCA on a Monday, requested a direct deposit, and by Friday my claim had been resolved and money was in my account...UNBELIEVABLE..!

10/10   Outstanding program , peace of mind , 5/20/2017

Unbelievable service, it is such a relief know that in a time of need your pet is covered. At 14 months old who would ever think your puppy would have to have a mass removed. The staff was so helpful and really care about your pet, like they were their pet. I submitted my claim and with less than a week my claim was approved and credited my bank account.
I would recommend to any pet owner this is a must have insurance. No matter how old your pet is. I purchased our insurance when we rescued are puppy and added are 7year old boxer. No matter how old your pet is they will provide coverage.

10/10   I do this because I love my kitties, 5/19/2017

Reviewed By: Janice K, Recommend: Y

We began purchasing ASPCA Pet Insurance because we love our kitties and want to provide the best life possible for them. Before we learned about ASPCA Pet Insurance, we had two elderly cats who both became ill at about the age of 12. One had diabetes, and the cost of his twice-daily insulin injections was expensive - about $200 a month for several months until he passed. His litter mate brother developed pancreatitis, and his hospital stays ran about $1500-$2000 each time he became ill. When these kitties passed, we purchased insurance immediately for the next three kitties. We now have an 8 year old and two 4 year olds. We have the wellness care coverage for each of them, and are very pleased with the coverage. Both of the babies were covered for their spay/neuter procedures. All three are covered for annual checkups, and for those occasional cuts and scrapes they receive in their daily lives. We couldn't be happier that to provide them the best care we can.

8/10   Purchasing Peace of Mind,
I had this coverage on my Lab/Chow mix, Angel, for ten years. The renewal premiums always seemed reasonable to me for the coverage provided. I was purchasing peace of mind. If there was an accident, or when she was hospitalized for two weeks with pancreatitis at the end, I knew that at least some portion of my expenses would be recovered. I submitted several claims over the years, including two ACL… read more

9/10   Tom and Ollie,
At one time my wife and I had two guys insured with Petshealth Care Plan Insurance. We lost Thomas about two years ago, but Oliver is still insured. Ollie doesn't seem to have the problems that Tom did, but as a soon-to-be nine-year-old standard poodle, he has his share of maladies, the current one being an extremely sensitive stomach. As an insurance agent (property and casualty), I appreciate good… read more

10/10   Thankful for ASPCA Pet Health Insurance,
I decided to get pet insurance after adopting my dog Tripp from a shelter last year. My previous dog had died from lung cancer which cost me thousands of dollars out of pocket. I did an internet search for pet insurance companies and compared plans and rates before deciding to go with ASPCA Health Insurance in June 2009. In May 2010, Tripp was bitten by a poisonous snake and required medical treatment… read more

6/10   Great for senior pets,
Although I have had a couple of negative experiences with Petshealth, I must say that they seem to be the ONLY pet insurance company willing to insure older pets. They will insure dogs up to 13 years and cats up to 15 years. They will even insure the pet with their top plan, regardless of age, if there are no pre-existing conditions. I have a 13 year-old cat who has never been sick a day in his life. I… read more
