| I have a 12 year old cat who I love like a child. She has always been healthy but then after her vet died I found out just how expensive vet costs could be (my previous vet had extremely low costs even for major surgery). After pricing the surrounding vets I realized I needed pet insurance. I then began debating whether to cancel the insurance or not especially when funds were tight, but given her age I figured I'd better keep her insured. Well the last few months have been very difficult in our house - our dog died of tumors and internal bleeding and then my cat started getting sick. They diagnosed her with hyperthyroidism but fortunately since she was in the early stages they were able to do the I-131 Radioactive Iodine treatment. Trupanion picked up all covered costs and did so at lightning speed. I had an email with the approval within 3 days of faxing in my claim forms. Every member of their staff I've dealt with were so compassionate and genuinly care about the pets they insure. I would highly recommend them for any pet owner that truly loves their pet and would do almost anything for their quality of life. | 10/10 Brilliant Service - Highly Recommended |
| I signed up with Trupanion two years ago (when it was still Vet Insurance) and have never once regretted my decision. My monthly payments are comparable (even lower than were I to go with anyone else), I chose not to have a deductable and they have been wonderful to deal with every time I've had a question, a concern or have had to make a claim.
The last claim I made was just this week. I faxed the insurance form and documentation in on Tuesday and not only recieved an email to let me know they recieved the claim, but also emailed me to let me know when it was opened and when a payment would be coming. It's been 3 days later and my claim has already been processed.
They are quick, efficient and most definitely the best (and only) choice to make when deciding about pet insurance. |

| 10/10 CUSTOMER SERVICE PERFECTED |
| For many years I had my dogs policy with VPI..What a mistake!! They allow so little you get back with each claim!!I last sent in a claim for 450.00 and got back 175.00
I am so glad my friend told me about Trupanion and EVERY call to their customer service for anything was 101% PERFECT!!! I just enrolled my dog Frisco and had the great fortune of having Sarrah handle the transaction.She handled the process with ease and amazing knowledge!By the way they have an A rating with the BBB and I am thrilled I found Trupanion!!! |

| 10/10 THE BEST! |
| My basset hound was diagnosed with canine cystinuria, which is very rare, at the age of one. This is a genetic disease, which many insurance companies would not cover. Fortunately, we insured him through Trupanion. We have 90% coverage, and are fortunate to have had over $5000 in vet bills paid for by Trupanion. Just 3 months ago, at age 2.5, he blocked with cystine stones and needed emergent care and surgery. He was in the hospital for 4 days. I have since switched my older basset girl to Trupanion insurance. We are really relieved to know that Trupanion will take care of our two bassets when they need veterinary care. |

| 1/10 Stubborn claims department |
| After a year as a Trupanion customer I have decided to drop the service. The claims department is extremely stubborn and you have to full out forms numerous times to get through the red tape. Honestly the time I spend going to and from the vet for signatures, filling out paperwork, and on the phone is not worth the money. |

| 7/10 Our experience |
| It took trupanion 10 days to process our claim. This does not include my time spent on preparing the claim and getting doctors signature as well as postal time mailing the claim to trupanion and the reimbursement check mailed to us. |

| 10/10 Pet Insurance ..soownderful!! |
| Charlie was so sick with GI vomiting, diaerhea and abdominal tenderness and resulted in exploratory surgery!
Dr Prince saved her life by finding a section of bowel that had inverted into itself and he was able to fix it. She had post op intravenous and is on a very special diet for the next couple of months.
The insurance company notified me when they received the claim (which was substantial), informed me by email when it had been processed and I had the cheque within 2 weeks of notification...AMAZING and the forms are so easy to complete. Thanks to the staff at hte clinic, they filled in everything that needed to be done and faxed it to the insurance company....sure helped relieve a lot of the stress of Charlie's illness and the bank account!!!! I wouldn't be without the insurance and this is the best company I have ever had to deal with! |

| 10/10 Best Pet Insurance |
| My cat spent six nights at an emergency clinic and had surgery. The bills kept adding up. Trupanion helped my save my pet. Without the insurance, I would not have been able to afford my cat's treatment. |
