10/10   Can't Thank You Enough
This is late coming, but as they say, better late than never! Our 3 1/2 yr old female french bulldog has had her troubles since day one. Hospitalized a couple of times for serious bouts of pneumonia before the age of 6 mos, a biopsy and other illnesses shortly thereafter, we have always been able to count on Pets Plus Us. Back in Jan 2017 Bailey had emergency surgery to remove a herniated disc and disc fragments. She went from running around one minute to practically being paralyzed the next. The amount of pain she was in was heart wrenching to watch. She needed an MRI to determine first if she needed surgery and second if it was in her best interest to have depending on severity (i.e. quality of life, need to put her down) we were terrified at the unknown. Also with her having anesthetic a couple of times, her pneumonia and the fact she is brachycephalic made it more serious to be put under - MRI 2 hrs; surgery 3 hrs for a total of 5 hrs. It was a decision we had to make on the spot. I quickly called PPU and spoke with Katie our rep. We were concerned about the cost as the surgery would be approx $9,000 and we wanted to make sure we were covered. Katie was able to review the file and give us confidence we were covered, however, if we wanted a 100% guarantee we would need to provide them with some info which we did not have time for. Needless to say, surgery went extremely well and PPU covered us for everything except our deductible and I think some meds. We love PPU, they have been there every time we have needed them. No increase in rates due to our usage of insurance which in itself is a relief. PPU has reimbursed us over $16,000 YTD and has not once denied our claim or threaten to drop us as clients. I feel totally confident with their service!! Always professional and ready to help out!! Thank you!!!

I am a senior on a pension and my cat Kirby has been part of my family for 14-years. I purchased insurance with Pets Plus Us because of the recommendation of my veterinarian. I was hesitant as I didn't really understand pet insurance or the necessity of it. Your customer service agents provided me with so much information and took the time to answer all my questions, never trying to rush me off the phone. After 1-year with insurance, our loving Kirby got sick. The treatment to fix Kirby was more than $1,200, will be ongoing and we could not have given Kirby the treatment without the insurance. Kirby and I are so grateful for Pets Plus Us, thank you.

10/10   Superior service, follow-up, and great staff.
My three-year-old cat, Roxie, was suddenly unable to keep food down and obviously in considerable discomfort. After three visits to the Veterinary hospital and various tests, including blood and X-ray, nothing definitive could be found, and a prescription diet was recommended (all of which Roxie turned up her nose at) along with broad-spectrum medication for GI inflammation and anti-nausea pills (giving Roxie meds should require wearing a kevlar vest and a fencing mask). Our local animal doctors and their staff are truly wonderful, but poor Roxie became more anxious and miserable with each visit. I submitted claim after claim within a period of three weeks and finally called Pets+Us to find out if I might have reached a submission limit within a time range. I was assured that all legitimate claims are accepted. I'd also like to point out that all staff I've spoken with at any time are incredibly helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and express concern for your sick pet. Their questions reflect the fact that they care about animals (the staff I've spoken with have their own pets). Submissions of these most recent claims were processed and reimbursed within a matter of days, following speedy notification. I'm particularly grateful for my policy choice, which offers 90% reimbursement ($100 yearly deductible), given Roxie's accident and injury incidents during her first two years. (She's less rambunctious now that she's a millennial.) I would unhesitatingly recommend Pets+Us for stress-free insurance. Who needs added anxiety when there's already more than enough with a suffering animal? My continuing thanks to everyone at Pets+Us.

10/10   Saved my dog's life
I got pet insurance through Pets Plus Us when I adopted an older dachshund from a rescue. I didn't use it for the first two years, but this year I am thankful that I have insurance for him. Without insurance, he would not have received care for his intervertebral disc disease as I could not afford to treat him. Pets Plus Us has been very cooperative through his whole treatment. Every time I call the person on the phone is helpful and gives me clear information on what is going on with his policy. Whenever they receive a claim, they email me saying they have received it and are processing it. Payment was received within 2-3 weeks. If the cheque was going to be large, they sent it by certified mail. I'm so glad that I signed up for pet insurance because with out it my dog may not have been here with me today.

9/10   Amazing Service!
We have two Great Danes and Pets Plus Us has been amazing for us. We got started with both them and a competing company on trials through our vet. Only days after getting full coverage our boy at 5 months old was in serious neck and spinal pain. After 3 specialist and lots of testing he now sees the Dermatologist every few months with severe allergies. The other provider wouldn't cover anything and luckily Pets Plus Us was there every step of the way! We've had nothing but fantastic customer service and coverage. It's been great knowing you are dealing with people who care instead of just people doing a job.

It is wonderful to know that there is help available when you need it for your blessed pet. Without pet insurance, senior citizens (which we are) would not be able to help their pets have a great quality of life. This is the first time we ever had kept insurance for our labs.
