| 8/10 I would recommend VPI... |
| I own 4 French Bulldogs and along with Frenchies come skin problems. Prior to the Frenchies, I didn't have pet insurance and when an emergency arose with one of our older dogs I was faced with a possible emergency vet bill of $5,000. I know VPI doesn't cover everything but their premiums are pretty reasonable and it does pay towards yearly shots and preventative meds. It does take some education to learn how deductibles work and to be sure that diagnosis' by the vet are consistently documented exactly the same as the prior diagnosis to ensure coverage. I personally like the "peace of mind" knowing that I have a safety net should I need it. Claims are processed quickly and reps are always happy to fully explain any questions you might have to ensure your coverage will apply. |

| 10/10 Great company for exotics |
| I have had VPI since they started their exotic pet program in the 1990's. I have been very satisified with them. The claim process is easy and they pay within about 2-3 weeks. I get an average of half my vet bill reimbursed. They are the only insurance company that insures pet rabbits in IL.
I also have my dog insured by them and have been satisfied with them. |

| 9/10 Very happy we chose VPI |
| Have two extraordinary golden retrievers insured through VPI. Bought the insurance to protect from unexpected major expenses, and am also pleased with coverage of routine health care for "the boys."
I have strongly recommended to family and friends with companion animals to insure them through VPI. I guess that says it all. |

| 10/10 Recommended by a friend/ Licensed Vet Nurse |
| VPI came highly recommended by a friend who happens to be a Licensed Vet Nurse. She has seen it all and told me I needed to look into pet insurance when I got my Boston Terrier puppy, specifically VPI. Some people might think it is a waste of money to pay the premium each month but if you read just a few of the stories that animal owners have written about their claims you will see anything is possible when it comes to our furry friends. Better to be prepared is how I look at it. |

| 8/10 As Necessary as Health Insurance for Yourself |
| I have had other insurance underwriters for pets over the past 10 years. VPI is by far my best experience. My one Chihuahua had acute kidney failure, probably poisoned and we pulled him through that. My aging Lab had liver and knee problems. All my claims were handle expeditiously and conveniently, and I have never had more courteous or concerned help from any customer service representatives. And I received full benefits per policy.
My disappoints are with underwriting. My vet "accepts" VPI insurance, but covered procedures are not "covered" in full. For instance, I think senior wellness exams and dental cleanings should be fully covered. I would also like to see medication coverage for chronic conditions - more options to purchase greater coverage.

| 10/10 Wouldn't be without VPI |
| I have had VPI for my 3 cats for 8 years now. Took it out when they were kittens because my last cat was very ill, and it cost us thousands of dollars before he passed away. I immediately took out pet insurance after I adopted these cats.
VPI has saved me thousands of dollars. We always hope our pets will remaine healthy, but 4 years ago, one of my cats got critically ill. He was hospitalized in ICU and they didn't know what was wrong with him. We have an excellent emergency hospital staffed with specialists, and they diagnosed him with a very rare blood disease. Now he has to see his doctor every 4 weeks for blood work and treatments. This is ongoing treatment, so needless to say, VPI has saved me a lot money. It is very easy to file a claim and I receive payment in just a few weeks.
My cat is receiving the very best care, and the pet insurance is invaluable to me for all of the money it is saving me.
I highly recommend taking out VPI as soon as someone gets a pet. It pays for itself many times over. |

| 10/10 A grateful Pet Mom |
| I have 4 cats and 1 dog. All are covered with VPI's Superior Plan with double cancer coverage. I want to share Lucy's story with you:
Lucy is one of my feline friends and is 13 yrs old. Three years ago she had radiation therapy for hyperthyroidism. VPI processed her claim quickly and efficiently.
Two weeks ago, I brought Lucy to emergency at the U of Mn. In a matter or hrs we had a bill that was over $3000. She had surgery for an obstruction and biopsies were done. We learned a few days later that she has a treatable cancer of the stomach.
I can't tell you what a relief it is to know that VPI and I will share the costs of her expensive care. It is something that I am so grateful for. The customer service people are caring, thoughtful folks and truly interested in the care of our animal companions. VPI is a "10" in my eyes.
Thank you so much VPI, for your caring attitude and prompt payment of claims.
