| 10/10 PurinaCare was a good decision. |
| I am very happy with my decision to purchase pet insurance for my puppy, Madigan. Besides the normal puppy shots and neutering, part of which was covered under preventive care, he had an episode of vomiting and diarrhea for 2 days. We never did figure out exactly why. We figured out why NOT! The claim I submitted was paid promptly and without hassle. I was impressed. Hopefully my little guy won't have any more health problems for a good, long time. I was uncertain about buying insurance for a puppy, but it has already been well worth it. I can make decisions based on the doctor's diagnosis, not on economics. I was totally impressed with the service and would recommend it to my friends. Thanks!

| 10/10 Couldn't Be Happier |
| Charlie needed to undergo an eye surgery to remove eyelashes that were a threat to his vision. I was quoted $1400 from the eye surgeon. Thinking it was a lot like a human surgery I contacted Purina to get an authorization. They were so kind and said once you have reached your deductible we will pay the percentage allowed. I did the eye surgery at the beginning of July and by the end of July I had the check in hand. The eye surgeon was super impressed as well with the customer service of Purina as the receptionist mentioned most companies are not this easy to deal with. Thanks Purina! |

| 10/10 Extremely pleased with PurinaCare |
| After much research and discussion, my family made the decision to purchase PurinaCare insurance on 3 of our active dogs. We fully believe we made the right decision. Our little Aussie needed surgery for a luxating patella - a $1300 expense. Having PurinaCare made the decision to go forward with the surgery a simple one. Friendly and knowledgeable PurinaCare representatives answered all of my pre-surgery questions thoroughly and with patience. The surgery went smoothly and so did my claim with PurinaCare. I received the reimbursement check in less than 10 days of submitting my receipts. The claims process was easy and I was reimbursed quickly. I have recommended PurinaCare to my all of my "dog" friends. The monthly premium is money well spent. |

| 10/10 So glad we have Purina Insurance "Just in case" |
| I struggled over buying insurance, most things I read said if you could afford to pay for the treatments and money was not a problem then Pet insurance was not for you. December 2009 I adopted Bella a young border collie rescue dog. I decided after reading about everything that is covered at least with teeth cleaning and routine items that I would not really be risking too much so I went ahead and purchased insurance for her "just in case". Bella is now 7 months old in the last 2 months we have paid $6,377.60 in vet bills and Purina has paid us $4,911.49. The "Just in case" has paid off big time. I simply fax the claims and usually within 2 weeks I receive payment. I could not be happier with the service we have received so far. |

| 1/10 Not Worth It - Don't Buy Purinacare |
| I shopped and shopped around trying to find a decent pet health insurance plan before I decided to buy Purinacare for my three Chihuahuas (age 8, 2 1/2, and 4mos).
Regretfully after submitting a couple minor vet bills to Purinacare, I was discouraged that they don't cover very much. I even bought the upgraded "preventative care" policies. I read that it covered dental, but - it doesn't. I got denied on $109.84 for a cleaning that included the removal of one tooth. When I called their customer service, they told me it was denied because the tooth was a "pre-existing condition". LOL I laughed! You've got to be kidding me? Guess the tooth was in existence previous to the vet removing it. I didn't realize needing a tooth removed was a "condition".
Essentially, after having the policies less than 2 months - I can see that this will result in constant "issues" trying to fight with Purinacare on what they cover and what they won't. Especially when they can hide behind the "pre-existing condition" denial for about anything they choose not to pay.
Honestly - Put the money you are thinking about spending on a policy into a separate savings account at your local bank. That way when you have vet bills, you'll have some money saved up & set aside for it. Don't flush your money down the toilet by buying Purinacare. After the $250 deductible and $40 a month - to only get an 80% reimbursement amount for things they don't decline/deny..... Definitely NOT worth the time |
